Keyword not ranking on Ahref

I tell you what I did. I chose a low competition topic according to Ahref and researched all the keywords that ranking and wrote a content around those keywords then build backlinks more than that competitor had.

If your keyword is over used then content will not rank well. If keyword is not in title and content heading then also there may be a problem. So, basically if you have low competition keywords and good backlinks. Then on page or over optimization due to backlinks can be problem.
Check your rankings on google, also if you finished backlinks today then you should wait 15 20 days.
 
+1 on this. Didn't renew my Ahrefs cuz I just don't trust their reporting anymore. They used to be good. Sigh.
 
Is the content optimized for keyword intent and also check with other factors, if you pointed quality backlinks, then suggest give it some time to see results.

They must be in tough financial situation. They closed the public part of the site, etc. Looks like extreme cost saving IMO.
