Keyword Difficulty

Hello,

I have few very good keywords. By Moz Keyword Difficulty I got 30%-50% but when I search for that keyword first results are:
1. Product company
2. Google Images
3. Ebay
4. Amazon
5. Newegg
6 and etc. some shops who sell similar products

I am going to write a reviews for that(those) products and wondering how much hard will be to outrank shops with no or very small description (review for product).

It depends on the keyword. If it's an exact item name (eg: Sony Alpha DSLR) then it would be hard to outrank top ranking positions because there's commercial interest and that would be most properly allocated to the top shop sites. If it's more general or is product name + review, it's easier to rank for the keyword because your site can actually specialize in that. Again, it really depends on the keyword, there is no one-size-fits-all response.

Actually, my site will be (for example) "bestcamera.com" and will offer reviews for cameras from top brands. If you type my keyword (best camera) the results are the provided in first post and mostly pages are about specified product like "Sony Alpha DSLR".

Well, you say anything user 6 is shops selling similar products? I would look into those websites and do some research. See what kind of PA/DA they have, see what kind of social engagement they have, see if you can make your website better.

If it looks like they have put in a lot of hard work and you don't think you can outrank them then it might be time to move on.

It's hard to say without seeing the rest of the top 10 but I think you would have a struggle getting into the top 5.....

Here's an example for my "best" keyword:

keyword: best cameras

results:
1. Google Images
2. Youtube video - Do It Yourself
3. Company's website for a specified product (example: Sony Alpha DSLR 329-Y932) and this is a sony.com website
4. Ebay (link to a search, not product)
5. Lifehacker article (Do It Yourself "Camera")
6. Link to a company who manufactures cameras (please note my keyword is more complicated then "best cameras")
7. Amazon (link to a product)
8. Amazon (link to different product)
9. Link to a company who manufactures cameras (please note my keyword is more complicated then "best cameras")
10. Build a camera by yourself (Article on website)

My keyword is 3 words (I do not know if it is long-tail :/ ) and has around 8000 US searches per month, the products are very-well sold on Amazon with good price.

Here's from Moz:

1. Product company = Moderate Trust if it isn't big company with a lot of backlinks on the inner page
2. Google Images = Means that you need to use images/illustrations in your contents
3. Ebay = Really poor trust, you can beat it in few days without much effort (if there aren't links on inner page)
4. Amazon = Same as eBay

Please do not trust Moz's competition metrics, your brain/experience works 9999K times better
So, check all the pages on the first page of Google with MajesticSeo and see if inner pages have backlinks, if not this pages are easy to beat.

Only amazon has keyword in URL, Exact Match Anchor Text Links is 0 for 8 sites, for other 2 is very low (2 and 0.01); noone has keyword in domain; Partial Match Anchor Text Links is 0 for 5 sites, and for other 0.1 - 5; social metrics are very low and I could get double more within few hours...

Few websites are authority (from the Root Domain links). In my opinion this SERP is easy because there aren't a lot of links pointing to the inner pages.
So, you need to look at contents too, because they can use some "semantic rules" that can help them to rank.

i think Keyword Difficulty occur in Moz for high usage those keyword. for high keyword you have to struggle more because of those keyword already ranked by others company.so you have to careful regarding this issue.

For this I reccomend to use MajesticSeo or Ahrefs to check link competition.

Explain your point mate, we can compare our ideas.

I think that if we don't know what keywords are it's really difficult to say if are easy or hard to rank.
Moz's metrics are good to have a comparative idea about the SERP but I will always look at the contents and 2 tier links to inner page that ranks on first 10 results of the first page.

As you have said without knowing the actual keyword we arnt able to give an accurate answer but this is what im going by.....

Firstly, the OP said eBay is ranking in the top SERPs. I have read in a few different places that if ebay/amazon/youtube are ranking for a keyword then thats a good thing because they will be easy to over take. I am not saying this is the reason the OP posted the top ranking sites but I have made a fair bit from ranking ebay pages for buying keywords and dropshipping stuff. It would be extremely hard for someone new to IM to over take my pages.

Secondly looking at the DA/PA split for the SERPs, usually I wouldent want to see more than two over 30, for this particular keyword that is almost the opposite of whats happening. I know there is a PA N/A but it has a DA of 96 so its DA can carry it.

Thirdly the backlink split screen shot that is linked from MOZ is a terrible indicator in my opinion, as far as backlink crawlers go I feel moz has the worst one out of moz, AHrefs and Majestic meaning it missed many links anyway. In addition to this there are plenty of little magic tricks we can do as SEOs to mask the real strength of a keyword. Take the top result for example, moz is showing one backlink. Even if this is true and it is resting on only one backlink it could be an extremly strong backlink. For example a high DA/PA site that is trusted by google, that page could then have thousands of decent links pointing to that filtering the total power to the page in question.

This next one is total speculation as I have not used MOZ and am unfamiliar with its percentage system but something ranked 30%-50% to me would be hard to rank.....out of 100% moz are telling you its already half way to 100% (also known as dont waste your time).]

Finally there is the fact the OP is having to come here and ask if his keywords are easy to rank. An indicator that he is not very experienced and may lack the tools and more importantly the knowledge to rank any keyword never mind these ones.

@ OP, please dont feel any of this is aimed at you in a negative way. Please take it as something to build on. The first keyword I tried to rank for was a 90,000 per month search term with around 3 million quoted competing pages. All of this because traffic travis told me it was rankable.

Try stuff, test, analyse, put what you learned to action, test, analyse, put what you learned to action....

I can confirm that but not because I have read it, I know it from experience. This kind of websites (especially eBay) are not targeting a Keyword!
Contents on eBay are created by common sellers, not SEOs!

I'm using it daily to analize an average of 20/30 different keywords. With my experience I can say this:
10-20%= easy to rank without much effort
20-35%= need few weeks, good On Page optimizzation, few quality links
35-50%= need to work hard with link building for months to get the first spot.

OP as Shaunm said, the most important thing is test yourself. You can learn to do good Seo by testing yourself all tactics

Trust me, there are plenty of people drop shipping stuff onto ebay and SEOing their ebay page to get it google traffic. I was one of them, it would be hard for someone to beat my pages for the main keywords they are targeted for.

OP - Top 10 can most likely be done. Pretty weak DA on the first page. The battle is really moving up into the upper slots and if its worth your effort.
