Keyword Cannibalization Question

Hey Guys!

I'm a little bit confused about keyword cannibalization.

So I'm trying to rank my foreign site for the keyword Search Engine Optimization (It's different in my language).

So I have made a big blog post about: What is SEO, On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, and different algorithm changes.

After that, as supporting pages i created articles like: Top 5 SEO Techniques, 8 Outdated SEO Techniques. Does this count as keyword cannibalization even though i internally linked to the main article?

Also, I created a different money page for link building in 2017, but I have a very short section about link building in the main SEO article. Does that hurt as well?

I noticed that my Link Building article is ranking for a keyword like "Seo for dummies", could that be because of keyword cannibalization?

Could be for any number of reasons, and not necessarily on-page. What do you think this "canibalization" is, actually?

no ... make links form your additional pages to the page you like to rank or which is the on google has in the results already.
