10 free searches / day.. their keyword tool is currently in Beta version. I am not sure if they would give 10 free searches once their tool is fully launched. Btw, it used to be unlimited free searches 3 weeks ago, I found around 1000 keywords to work with . That should cover keyword tool expense for an year

Do keyword brain-storming

The traditional way is go to Google Keyword Planner to get your keyword ideas, but since it updated to force you got an AD campaign or wont show you real number of each keyword you search, you can use "keyword everywhere addon" in Chrome.

Or you try to use some 3rd party keyword analyzing tools to find your dream keywords: for example, longtail PRO, Semrush.com, these awesome tools would save your life.

Better before find a good keyword, know the basic SEO things, read some blogs, books, and then gradually start a blog, good luck to you.

Well each tool can only reach a certain amount of data, each has their own data gatherer and so on. Also a lot of more experienced webmasters block these tools using a bunch of tricks (cloaking, etc). So you need to take each output and weigh them. Semrush is pretty good and established, but the most precise kw cost tool is Adwords itself, cuz Google has the biggest reach.
