Actually I didn't, it was released way before my time. But after watching BR 2049 I will definitely do it soon.

The reviews on the movie are pretty diverse, a lot of people (including me) really loved BR 2049, but some others rated it as total crap.
I know, a lot of people just want to see movies with a lot of action, fights and no deep story (probably because they wouldn't even understand a complex plot).

Also, after watching Interstellar, I don't feel like any dystopian future movie is going to top it at this point. It's made most of the others feel a bit underwhelming.

I get your point. There are a lot of dystopian / Sci-Fi movies released these days, but each of them has an own style. Interstellar, hunger games, Chappie, divergent are all fantastic movies (You forgot Oblivion, Cloud Atlas, Transcendence and Elysium, really fantastic movies). But you can't say that they are all the same.

also love how TNG cast will be popping in the show as well, and they nabbed
a few of the camera staff who worked on TNG cant wait for Patrick Stewarts
cameo.

orville is TNG in all but name. and episode 4 was directed by none
other than Jonathan frakes ie TNG no1. also trivia episode 1 was directed
by tom paris of voyager

Well, you have to be adaptable, clever, impressionable and learn new things quickly. You also need to be near our HQ looking bored at the exact time we decide we need an intern.

It's generally less of a recruitment process and more of a "they look pretty good - throw this bag over their head, chuck them in the van and we'll break their spirit back at the office".

@WilhelmScream just couldn't run fast enough. But we've done some brainwashing and she even comes back voluntarily now.

Otherwise, there's the other method of waiting till we're recruiting in-house staff and applying. Just to be aware, we have a lot of mod applications that we consider very carefully - if someone's applied, we'll watch their activity on the forum and see what contributions they make to the forum but it can take a little while before we'll be able to contact someone.

If an application's made by a relatively new member, we'll give them suggestions on what we're looking for, what they can be doing to get more involved and understand the forum better and explain the process. We've received some good applications recently (that are currently being reviewed) but we're always looking for active, engaged members who contribute and help other people.

@Apricot, I've heard that in-house BHW team members are paid in PBN links and Stripe gum. Is there any truth to this? If so, I will be filling out an application and you will be seeing me looking sullen and downtrodden in the UK shortly.

I heard they spent $130 million on the movie but only made 39$million this past weekend. I am sad for this because I saw everyone on my facebook enjoyed the movie as well. my whole feed was flooded with comments when it came out. but I believe they didn't do much promotion for this movie. looks like they could use some black hat ceo tools jk
anyways, for those that don't know, the original blade runner (which was based off a book) was the main inspiration for all cyber punk/sci fi stuff you see today
without this, you probably wouldn't have ghost in the shell/akira
but yeah, wish they showed more love scenes
