Just thinking about starting a new blog on wordpress

Lol wordpress (selfhosted) is way better than blogger. I haven't seen a business running on blogger

how about Google hosting it's own blogs on blogger

WordPress is Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too better than Blogger buddy. The gap is to wide between the two.

i just install my first wordpress via hosgator yesterday...
but when i click the link (my new domain link), it goes to some sort of godaddy advertisement..
does it take some time for my blog to go live ?

Can you tell us why you think wordpress is better than blogger, is it because of the plugin that comes with wordpress that make it better? i really would like to know. Thanks

I find that wordpress is very easy to use, so I do like that aspect of it.

Yes it's the plugins that comes with it. Also, you can go from scratch on it with costumization that is not that hard to learn. With a basic knowledge about HTML and CSS plus a little bit about PHP, you will get an awesome result.

Now what if you haven't any idea about HTML, CSS, and PHP and you are just new into these things, you can still create good results for there are a lot of available themes to tweak and choose from. There are already pre-built click and save or drag and drop theme customization placed in it so that beginners can easily create what they are thinking to create. Compared to blogger, there is a limit. While on WP there is still a limit, but the variations and range of customization just go way better.

Bro, you can scan here in BHW with more comments and posts about this comparisons and I bet most of the time WP will win the arguement. Go for WP bro, thiks is a friendly advice from your friend who has been into this before.
