Just started dropshipping! Need tips!

So I just started dropshipping from AliExpress and doing it through Ebay.
Starting slow with some smaller items such as accessories.

Now I have a quick question to begin with, what if someone messages me saying they didnt like the product or even worse never got the product. What do I do?
Also what are some good easy sellable items I can start with, not looking to make $10.000 my first month my goal right now is $100 and double every month.

Also any tips from you DropShippers are highly appriciated!

That is the key Make sure you find a drop shipper that has a great rep. Make sure everything you ship has a tracking number. You may pay a little extra for shipping but will pay off in the end. If you don't put tracking in you will start to see your funds being held from 7 to 21 days.

As for as if someone doesn't like what they got. You should check with the drop shipper on how they do returns.

How do I check if the drop shipper has a tracking number?

while ordering from Ali express try shipping via ePacket they provide a tracking number and faster shipping..... Any success so far ?
 
Question one 1: You always refund and take your losses.

Question 2: should have thought of that before you started, nobody going to tell you and it wouldn't matter either, things I can sell you might not and vice versa, you need to do your own testing.

I must say, dropshipping AE to eBay is IMO if your new a hard path to follow. Everything you want to sell is already being sold and often for prices you can't compete with, you'd be better of with dropshipping through a niche website.

Whatever niche you pick it is going to require hard work to succeed.

Now I build my own in WP and Woocommerce but if you are not experienced you should go with what most dropshippers do and that is shopify.

Niche shouldn't matter that much as in the end of the day it all comes down to how successful you are in marketing. It's best to pick a niche you enjoy and at least have so small knowledge off.

Keep in mind though, if you go with a niche site with shopify you need to pay monthly sub for shopify and Oberlo. On the upside, Oberlo makes in ridiculously easy to import items from AE into your website.

It seems to me that you, and most people that start dropshipping after reading forums like this, have no idea how you are actually going to run your business. It's like you're trying to run before you can walk.

Why did you start dropshipping in the first place? What motivated you to do it?
 
what you have done is the best method to start with
starting with small items is best strategy
only extra effort required now is keep trying in marketing, and getting new products plus wait.
it should be perfect in some time

I don't quite follow how this is the best method.

It seems like the OP has jumped on a band wagon without doing much research into what she's actually going to do.

With full respect what you saying is correct that we need lot of research before starting any task

But there also a different angle to took at it
and that is at least OP has started
we see so many guys here keep asking asking and asking but never starting
In fact I too wanted to start drop shipping since 2-3 months but still yet to start
So without any objection to your point. I have to say that whosoever starts in some way thats the best method,

That's a very strange thing to say.

If the OP loses money on this because she didn't do her due diligence, will you still tell her it's the best method?
 
AliExpress x eBay sounds like a terrible combo.

A lot of eBayers expect decent delivery times, and AliExpress orders can take weeks, months or never turn up. This means that you either advise in your postage options that it will take 499939 days or you refund items that take too long or they don't receive. Resulting in your feedback comments and rating becoming a mess. One of they key things that keeps people buying from me is feedback and fast delivery, sounds basic but very important.

Might be better to make your own site OP.
 
IF you are going to advertise (fb or ig or any sort of ads) do not touch them after you created an ad campaign - it takes a few days for ads to optimize.

And always be honest about shipping times if you are getting your products from China, better to say ***shipping usually takes 3-5 weeks*** than having to respond to 1000 mails about when their product will arrive.
 
I would use shopify and make a general store on which you can list many different products to see what works and what doesn't. You can find a coupon for a two month trial which should give you enough time to make a few sales before it expires. Get the oberlo app for shopify this way you can quickly import products from aliexpress onto your page within seconds. If you have the budget, I would go with facebook ads for the marketing.
