Hey.Yeah, I just figured that out, some weeks ago I submitted some 20 articles for upfront payment from a source which seemed to me that wasn't indexed with any search engine, they paid me something like $70 for all of them, they must have found out about my source by some other means (maybe someone else is using it) that's my judgment at least.
As much as it hurts me to say this, what's lost is lost, but now I only want to be able to sleep at night knowing that I won't suffer any legal consequences.
Can they prosecute users outside the U.S. (I'm from Europe), can paypal share my personal info and IP address with them or the only thing paypal can really do is ban me? (and even this will be a pain in the ass, I'm currently expecting payment for a couple of users for my freelance work to that paypal account)
Additionally, we will be reviewing the content you submitted that was published on Associated Content to see if any of it violated copyright laws. You agreed to indemnify AC for any financial damages it incurs because of your breach of section 7 of the Independent Contractor/License Agreement. Shit... i'd be more worried about the plagiarism.....
If someone sues them for like $100,000... because that article is hot.... YOU'RE FUCKED!!!
Did you use real info to sign up??
get seriousall they can do is ban his account. its their problem if they get sued. This man is just an employ
for their company. It's the company that gets fucked
Cheer up and have a good nite sleep dude, no lawsuit will come your way, $450 is nothing for them and I bet it happens to them everyday.
Time to move on and always have 2-3 money making sources, don't just rely on 1 as you did here. If any one of them fails, you will have other sources to cheer you up.
Cheers!
