Well, I'm no expert here ... but I'd guess it has to do with the fact that "goggle" is a regular dictionary word that has not undergone the trademark rigor as has Google.com

There have been some issues with some speculators/scalpers trying to trademark every dictionary word. They're losing that battle, last I heard. I hope it continues, although I've not followed it closely.

Apparently the highlighting of my name has a reason - my head contains FACTUAL resource based on study and experience. Unlike you, I didnt just pop out of nowhere posting USELESS input. 2 experienced people have already spoken and refuted your claim. You dont even have a clue of what you're talking about. Seriously. Picture the scenario. Copyright (copywritten) domain points to redirect which points to landing page. Landing page is some sort of affiliate link. If owner of domain is pointing toward clickbank... then.. what the hell is the point of blanking via the meta refresh. Nice try, although I still don't believe clickbank would perform anything civil or criminal.

If clickbank wanted to investigate, they would simply follow the links and find the end result. The person behind it would entered the name the check should be issued to plus address details and such... I am really just stating the obvious.

The reality is that if the OP starts making some real coin with this domain, it is only a matter of time before clickbank notices and takes legal action. Of course, the severity of the consequences depends on where he lives, etc.

Unless you are happy with just making small change, don't expect this to make you any real money.

I had once taken down a domain squatter that was using one of my trademarks in his domain name. This was in spite of the fact that the domain was registered several years BEFORE I had registered the trademark (however my LLC was incorporated much earlier and had been already using the trademark without registration). It wasn't difficult at all to shut him down and recover damages.
 
this was a really great idea, I will probably also use this in the future, buying dozens of typo error domains from major online companies, and them monetize them like crazy!

Actually no, I am not wrong. What we have in this thread are a bunch of fake lawyers trying to give legal advice about something they clearly do not know about. First of all, I wasn't even talking about cybersquatting, the OP wasn't talking about cybersquatting, and that's not actually what he's doing. Registering the domain dlickbank.com and then redirecting to the site clickbank.com is not cybersquatting and it's something Clickbank likely wouldn't pursue and they would have NO legal grounds for if the registrar was located in China. This is not an opinion, it IS a fact.

See what others are doing. XlickBank uses the redirect to a product. Frankwyatt is his name (Go to buy page and scroll to bottom to find the affiliate) and he redirects to Keyword Elite.

I actually just found another great typo...maybe I'll buy it. You make one sale/referral and boom.
 
Maybe i can sue mcdonalds as im sure my ancestors were around long before the food chain and thus i should have automatic trademark and copyright to the website ;)

Oh come on, I can easily post here a 1000+ using this system and if you look at them and see their online statistics, you'll see that they're monetizing really really well.

And no action was ever taken upon then, even though some of these sites are online for some years now.

And btw were all BHers, we make money breaking or bending the rules, and some of these rules are far more important and legally questionable that this specific one.
