Eh bien, c'est finalement arrivé. Je suis officiellement un crétin maintenant. Je peux enfin partir en vacances et faire des voyages indispensables. Je n'ai littéralement pas été en vacances à l'extérieur du pays depuis plus d'une décennie. Le dernier vol sur lequel j'ai pris était celui qui venait ici il y a 12 ans. Je déteste voler donc pas de perte là-bas. Cela n'a pas vraiment pris autant de temps pour être juste. J'étais juste un connard paresseux et je n'ai postulé qu'à la fin de 2019. En tant que résident permanent avant cela, je n'avais techniquement pas besoin de déposer une demande pour devenir citoyen, car j'aurais pu vivre et travailler ici indéfiniment avec ce visa, mais voyager à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur du pays aurait pu encore poser problème si je tombais sur le mauvais type de personne.

Maintenant que ma femme et moi avons tous deux un passeport du même pays, nous nous sentons beaucoup plus à l'aise pour voyager. Avant, nous avions trop peur qu'un agent frontalier passe une mauvaise journée et refuse à l'un de nous l'entrée dans le pays de nos partenaires que nous n'avions jamais pris la peine de voyager. On dirait qu'un poids énorme a été levé.

Maintenant, tout ce dont j'ai besoin, c'est de me rendre chez Costco et d'obtenir un coffre-fort pour pouvoir y mettre mes deux passeports et ma pince à billets et me sentir comme un espion lol!:RÉ
