There is all kinds of mining resources to look at. I personally say go for it. Just remember to only invest what youre willing to loose.

edit: the difficulty is sky rocketing so get in the game as soon as possible

Bro, I wouldn't bother investing in a mining rig when you can buy the coins outright dirt cheap.

Seems like the better option to me.

All my super cheap sources have gone in the last 48 hours

I would mine the shit out of it, on feb 14th the block reward is due to half. I think it will happen sooner if this rise in price keeps happening.

It's worth it do mine still, although as I'm typing this the difficulty and network hashrates are skyrocketing. In a little over the last 72 hours the difficulty has tripled, the price has went up by 4x what it was, and the network hashrate has almost doubled. That being said you can still build a cheap miner and get in on the action, but don't think you're going to replace any meaningful income with it. I'm doing it on the side for fun because I didn't risk anything I couldn't afford to lose, plus the PC can obviously be used for other things to pay for itself as well :) But as long as you do some research and don't jump in blindly, I don't see why you couldn't get on board. Such Fun!

There is no point in making your own rig, as others have said it is a lot easier to just purchase the coins.

By the way, I would advise not to use capital letters at the start of every word.

Looking to purchase some via Paypal if anybody knows of a trading platform without high fees.

Or donate on cryptsy? 4585d1346f17420e25f3ed4567fe836a402e55d5 :)

A rig is an investment that might not even pay for itself, so know that before you drop a chunk of change on some cards. I just wish I had starting mining btc back when it was in this infancy like dodge is now. And as someone else said, if you are going to mine, you need to do it now, cause it's only going to get harder from here on out

To The Moon!

Where did you buy your coins from? or where do people find is best to buy theirs from?

"Guys, I'm considering not being lazy, but for now please can you send me some free money?"

There are 4 different cryptos that I'm looking at. I'm having trouble figuring out which one to go with, so I may invest a bit in all 4.

After what happened with the meteoric rise of BitCoin I know its tempting to jump in and try to find the next "big thing" as far as virtual currencies go but if your reason for investing is because you expect to see a return on investment similar to that of early investors in bitcoin then you will most surely be disappointed.

The current value of every crypto currency already has the increased hype and awareness that originally propelled bitcoins huge growth built into it.
