Finally decided to put my skills into something worth doing. And not waste it on projects that don't go anywhere.

Plan:
- Send out cold emails and possibly Facebook posts for free web design and development. Simple one pagers with sections. Just so I can build my portfolio and possibly get paying referrals.
- After building my portfolio with ~2-3 free projects and showing off my skills start charging people.
- Start charging customers a monthly fee for hosting and maintenance. Just building websites would be limiting myself and not tapping into more ways to make more money.
- Possible referral program where I will give ~10% commissions to the referrers. This could be a great way of boosting sales and getting bigger customers.
- Later on start doing on-page SEO, Social Media Marketing, etc.

Pricing plan: (not final)
- $100 - for a website as described above (one pager). I can do this type of website within a day so it should be easy money.
- $25-100 - for a hosting plan and maintenance depending on the package.

So that is my current plan. I will keep everyone updated on what's happening. Got my fingers crossed on this one!

Don't hesitate to leave feedback or questions!

with the web design, you can add website content pricing plan as well, so that can add some $$ as well + basic SEO package + basic social account creation and set-up package.

With these little add-ons you can easily score 250-300 even for a one page website set-up.

All the best!

Yeah I like the idea that the client can mix and match options that best suit them. Currently not that focused on my own website. Doing some promoting in FB groups, messaged a couple of people who needed web developers, and scraped Google Maps for leads. Actually an amazing method and paired with automation is incredibly simple.

Agreed. You can also try cold emailing to Instagram business accounts. Many sellers on Alibaba also have very old websites or no websites, so you can also try to reach them as well.

Put more options with web design:
Stock photos (use creative commons)
Graphic design
Seo optimized content
Popup lead gen form incorporation (like mailchimp signup form)

Last but not the least, scrape linkedin for web design agencies and pitch JV to designers if you're charging so low you may get a whitelabel deal out of it wjere someone else gets you the clients

That's some really good info! Thanks!
Only issue I am having now is getting leads. But it's always hard at the beginning tho :p

I'm gonna do something similari soon, wish you the best.
Keep it updated!

You got it man. Let me ask, what are your cold email strategies?

All the best mate

Thanks!

You got it man. Let me ask, what are your cold email strategies?

I have some simple guidelines. When I find the business I do a little research and follow these:
1. Don't make it corporate
2. Make it friendly
3. Make it relevant to their business

Basically just don't bore them and don't make them throw your email in the junk. Best way is to make it sound friendly. Ask them about their business, what are their goals, present them with a solution to growth, etc.

Just wanted to link this thread - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/m...bs-through-cold-emails-by-bloodyninja.917339/ and
also https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/2...king-threads-corona-lockdown-special.1223698/ (Look at the offline web design section) to help you out as well.
Have you seen any results already from the messaging?
Best of luck.

Thanks for linking those! Always love going here and getting myself hyped and motivated.

Not really. Just started so no results. Hoping to see more results once I do more on Facebook.

Thanks!

doing something similar, following this thread!

Good luck!

Update:

In the process of designing a website for my agency. Focusing on the long run so prioritizing SEO on that page. Plan is to make a quality blog post twice a month.

The Facebook group method seems to be kinda retarded. There are so many fucking bots posting their crypto pyramid schemes. Your post just gets swallowed by them.

Goal is to send at least 30-50 cold emails a day.

No successful clients for now.
