You told that you have hundreds of informative articles and that you don't put so much attention on the keywords you want to target and that usually are low competition ones.
The question is: do you write articles like "How to" or other articles type?
Another question: do you have some articles that drive a great % of the traffic or the traffic is spread on a great % of your article?

August Update
This month was like the one before. As I said before, I did a theme switch and made some small mistakes within the theme change and, therefore, loosed some traffic from the affiliate articles and a bit overall. However, everything is on the way up again now so I guess this month it will start raising again.
Have been approved for AdThrive also and going for a switch in about 20-25 days. I expect the RPM to get even higher because of this after some research from other webmasters who switched.
Have also been talking to a guy who is interesting in buying the website. If I'm getting an offer of 40-45x the monthly income, I'm selling it. I do still have a lot of unpublished articles because of having been working on other websites to diverse the income, so there is a lot more traffic potential. If you are publishing all the articles I have in my folder and selling some guest post links, I think you easily can come up to 10k/month in 1-2 months.
Earnings this month total: 7675$
Going to answer all questions soon when I get more time

Do you still pay that much tax as a company? Cos I'm guessing the 50% is on a personal income basis
