thanks yea I am not embedding, Im hosting everything on my server.
I think tool-wise I have everything set, so I'm making the rest of the site now

Did some research on types of ads like CPM, CPA, pop under, etc. All seem like a waste of time with how little they pay + the hit on user experience.
Makes much more sense to go the affiliate route, and I think I found a lax affiliate program with very related products.
 
Site is up & running now, as well as content generation has been almost fully automated.
Takes about 1min manual work to fill the site with however much new content I choose.

I want to make this fully hands-off automated in the future, but for now I can finally focus on promoting and generating traffic

Mind telling what affiliate program you found?

And also following. I'm interested in going into NSFW type of sites too and I would like to avoid spamming the site with ads or similar. Having good user experience is key for porn sites imo.
 
Following this and quite interested in going the same route as you I am primarily a software developer working mostly with vue js and django, I was wondering are you thinking of embedding videos from other tubes or are you going to upload and serve content from your own servers and how are you going to monetize videos since most tubes have in-video ads nos

It's efficient for your server and an easy way to get started.
But those sites let you embed because they also place ads on your site through the embedded content.
If you're not careful your site might start looking like the New York Times Square of shitty porn ads.
