Journey to 500$ a month

Considering I'm virtually starting from scratch i have probably named a little bit too high sum. But hey! we have to think big here, internet marketing is no place for 1-dollar-a-day type of thinking, you can get more by washing toilets in Pakistan.

My goal? 500$/month.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY APOLOGIZE FOR THE SPLIT POSTS, BUT FOR SOME REASON I CANNOT POST THEM ALL TOGETHER BECAUSE OF CONTENT FILTER, SORRY.

How do i plan getting there? Basically, doing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. I started with 18$. I bought a domain for two years. It's basically a website about Movies. I intend putting movie reviews, lists, DVD purchases through amazon affiliates.

My knowledge and skills?

I have started in the making-money-on-the-internet "industry" as a freelancer on sites such as Script Lance and Odesk. Then i have slowly moved to working for internet marketers and doing the technical things they do not know how to do. My very developed skills consist of:

~ Making High Quality videos from scratch, real knowledge not just templates-using + a lot of experience in this field.
~ Photoshop and virtually anything visual, from faking things, creating banners, design, good-looking posters, everything.( I'm also following an Art High School right now, yeah, I'm 17 only, sorry to break it to you)
~ Website creating, mostly using platforms such as wordpress, joomla but i can also effectively manipulate HTML to get what i want, sometimes the pre-made stuff just aren't enough and for those cases i have more than enough Coding knowledge.
~ Soundtrack creating and manipulating (not music, just testimonials& other similarities) I also own a Studio High Quality microphone from a previous internet job.
~ Expert Hardware knowledge, how things work, problems, how to fix them (this is generally useless but maybe I'll monetize it someday)
~ Article writing, i own a personal blog with over 300 articles and have previously owned even more.
~ Social Media knowledge.
~ SEO Knowledge, such as building backlinks, getting the rank up, making the website SEO-friendly for Google Bot.

I have decided it's time to start my own thing and STOP doing the technical work for marketers and getting a pathetic amount of money for doing a ridiculous skill-requiring job.

I'm open to suggestions, propositions, corrections, anything! Thank you for reading all this, cheers!

Good Luck. If I were you, I would've either bought 2 domains with that money and then setup 2 sites. This way you could try things on one site, and then try different things on the other. That way you can see what works and then scale up from there.

None the less, good luck. There is a lot of information here that will assist you in making money. I am up to 600$ a month, and looking to grow. This is on one site, it took me a while (probably longer than others because I hate to read lol) but I am here.

errm, why don't you charge more? make a website for these services and advertise it? then outsource the work you used to do?

Well, when you''re getting most of your clients from Fiverr, there isn't really any decent ammount of money you can get to. I used to do videos for those. Usually they would be simple videos so i would get them done in under 30 minutes, for 4$. But that means i need to do over 140 Videos a month.

And even if i take most of my customers on skype & mail outside fiverr, odesk and scriptlance i can't actually get to a reasonable amount of money. Once there was this lame guy who actually raised the price to 8$ after 2 hours of negotiation for a 6 hours of work video. And that's pretty much how marketers work with freelancers.

The thing is i can't keep doing freelancing for on and on and on, i want to achieve a stable income out of this and learn a lot of things.

Don't worry, I've been reading and learning things for over 12 months, i didn't just woke up this morning and said to myself " I'll make a thread on BHW forum where people will tell me how to make money and I'll become a millionaire overnight and be happy for ever and ever after "

There are similiar sites around just like Fiverr... Some where the minimum is $10, some where its $50...

Google "Sites like fiverr" the first listing should be a site that shows you 12 fiverr alternatives

Thank you for the suggestion, but even if i know how to do all the technical things i don't plan on doing it for others, I've been learning marketing and preparing for quite a long time now.

For example, i know how to run, that doesn't mean i must participate on the Olympics, does it? or that i should jog for a living? (it's just an analogy, there could be a lot more)

Becuase, pakistan is foreign to ARomanians. SO he probably just picked someplace far away from his location.

I have said Pakistan just as a random far away country ^^, might as well be India, China, Hungary, Romania, Mexico, Argentina, etc. (over 200 countries on the planet).

I have started long ago and i have learned a lot of things, but i only started this thread now, because this is when i start DOING things instead of JUST learning and reading. I'll be posting a minimum of 1 daily update.

Update #1.

I have not been able to be approved on ANY CPA network i have tried (over 8 now). To fight this, i have started applying using my personal blog and content in the applications. All of my applications were shortly approved (CPA LEAD too).

I have also made 5 different posts about 5 different movies on my blog, downloaded them, gathered subtitles and as soon as the last CPA network applications are approved i will start making the Videos, which i will upload on youtube and use my 20 facebook accounts and 20 youtube accounts to get a high rank, for each movie i have prepared 10 different youtube movies.

All of this should be up and running by tomorrow evening and i should start monitoring the income about Saturday.

Money made so far: 0$
