After running the app idea I had through people on reddit, bhw, and friends I decided no to go through with it.
For the past year a very good friend of mine who works at a large investment firm has been giving me trading signals. His signals are very strong and hit 99% of the time. I grew my 10k account into $35k in a matter of 3 months. Then I went in with more money rounded my account up to $50k. With the $50k I'm sitting on around $130k. I ran the idea by him to start a premium discord server and sell his signals to the public.
His concern was the publics concern. Ex. why would a hedge fund guy sell signals to the public. My response was because it's a win win. You make the trade and make money plus if you sell the trade thats even more money.
After coming to an agreement we decided to start up the discord server.
My plan is to grow slowly but steadily and build up a solid foundational group and eventually hit 1k users.
Currently we've started testing ads on the following platforms:
Snapchat - Budget: $100/Day
Instagram - Budget: $100/Day
Facebook - Budget: $100/day
Tik-Tok - Budget: $100/day
Google - Budget: $100/day
We built a click funnel landing page and are pushing traffic to that.
We've also built our social media accounts and are growing those. Tik-tok and IG are our main focus.
I created this thread to keep myself accountable and to post updates weekly or bi-weekly.
I'd love to hear bhws take on this, questions, concerns, advise, and criticisms.
