New month, same goal, but I'll try to surpass it like I did in July.
I had to fire the webdesigner, wasn't easy, lost a friend too, but he messed up the adwords campaign and lost me a client. Luckily it was the $500/mo client, the smallest one. I tried to keep him by switching his account to fb ads but he didn't want to.
I won't be needing webdesign services, because I'm focusing fully on paid ads, so from a business perspective it was the right thing to do. But my main problem is still unresolved, I need to find an adwords guy. So far, I'm getting only people who are unexperienced, and seems to me that the good ones are already hired. It's going to be a challenge to find someone as good as the former. Might have to go above and beyond and try to get him back.
I wrote about this before in the thread. Basically, interact in comments then add to friends then chat. Pitch when he's ready. Never pushy, no call to action.

Yesterday I received 2k from my 2k/mo client. This is the 2nd payment, so I'm excited that he's still satisfied with us.
I finally found someone who might be good with adwords. We met in person and he's now working on the campaign of our lost client, if he can make the client happy, I'll hire him full time.
Even if things are better, I still have a sensation in my stomach, feeling like this recurring revenue can crumble like a house of cards any given time.

I don't make websites anymore, only paid ads. My last websites were wp+woocommerce.

Got 1k today from one adwords client, they were late 5 days and had to change their cc. All day was back and forth with them trying to explain their old cc was getting denied and automated payment failed. Funny thing, the cc for the adwords budget was updated, they just forgot about me :/. Pretty annoying to lose a day just to grab the money you should've gotten anyway.
The new adwords guy seems to be handling stuff for now, he's still in trials, he didn't get the lost client back though yet, hopefully soon, or he'll demand a refund for last month.
For a few days I won't have to worry about that so I started outreach again and since things were slow on fb I decided to use the old email lists that I collected in the beginning of the year and sent 83 emails to people who replied at least once and I got a skype call booked for tomorrow. Warm leads are the best. Hopefully more of them will reply.
I don't know about enormous, but yeah they spend the most on ads among my clients. 2 employees, they sell educational/infoproducts. Hopefully they'll make profit on that, so they can stay with me longer.

Did you advice them to spend this amount or where they already spending that with another agency?
Are you managing their ads on your own adwords account or you get access to theirs?

No, they were already spending a lot, I sniped them from the other agency when they had a lower revenue month. Hopefully they don't do that to us when they'll have a bad month :/
Linked their manager acc to ours. Don't manage ads for others on your own account, so many things can go wrong that way.

- Got $500 today from the newest client. Will try to renegotiate to 1k next month if the results are good.
- Got someone referred by the store guy in the pipeline. We discussed over email and tomorrow we'll have a skype or mess session for more details.
- Payment is late for the fb ads contract. Was due on the 10th and should've arrived yesterday the latest.

Today I finally managed to get the $1200 (fb ads contract) that got delayed, with some effort. This is the 2nd client who doesn't pay on time even if the payment was supposed to be automatic. Hopefully it's just the two of them. But hey, it's cash in the bank, so feels good.
The fb ads guy doesn't do anything since 2 weeks ago when he last edited some campaigns, so I don't want to pay him to do nothing, asked him if he can supervise. He strikes to me as someone with management skills so why not put him to the test? I asked him to find a sales guy part time and in the meantime manage my other employee, make sure payments are coming, reply to emails.
In the meantime I'll take a week off, I really need it, haven't had a movie marathon since last year, plus I gotta read some interesting bhw threads, didn't have enough time for that lately.
