Journey to 100K$ playing crypto NFT games

I'll be watching this thread. Wish you the best of luck.

I'm kinda in the same boat. Just have most invested in rplanet. Bought into metal war after finding this thread. Let's see...
Nice good luck to you too!

Very interested in this, ive read both pages. Still dnt get it. I assume there is no real game? Enlighten me please OP, im just an oldskool miner. Dont know bout these crypto games as they didnt exist in the crypto stone ages.. I.E. 2010/2009 wana get involved like yesterday, seems more interesting than buying the dip :D
R-planet and Metal Wars are games, but it's really simplistic and nothing like you're used to.

R-planet currently offers a staking model where you earn more cryptos by staking more cards. These cryptos can be used to make elements (like an alchemy game). You can try to invent new elements by trying certain combinations (which is fun but requires you to risk money), but you can also play safe and create something that is already invented. The goal is to get more staking power though. You can sell the NFTs that you created for money or you can sell the generated cryptos for money. In about 1-2 months, R-planet will implement a PVP element, where players can also craft robots and attack/conquer each other's lands.

Metal wars is going to offer some sort of Red Alert game with tanks. At the moment, they only allow you to PVE, which means clicking on a button every hour and getting rewards (or a small chance to break your unit). In a month or so, they plan to release a PVP element so you can battle other players with your tanks. Currently, the game is just to buy cards and to use them for PVE (clicking buttons every hr) which makes you money..

NFT market is still young and most games are in pre-alpha. That's why they offer limited content. There are some AAA games in development, but I don't expect those to release before 2022. I am, however, most interested in making money by staking cards and clicking on stupid buttons.

Glad I can help!

Do not go to Rarible or Opensea as they are running on the Ethereum blockchain. The action right now is at WAX. You can make your own WAX wallet to store your NFTs and tokens at wallet.wax.io
After making your wallet, you might want to buy some WAX so you can get started. You can do this on Bittrex or Kucoin exchange or just buy WAXP at wallet.wax.io with your credit card.

Next, the marketplace for WAX is at Atomichub.io and NFThive.io. Here you can find all NFTs that are on the WAX blockchain. I would advise you to check the top 30 NFT collections on NFThive and then join their telegram channel or discord channel. These 2 social media channels (telegram & discord) are most used in the NFT market and people are always very friendly and open to answering any questions you have.

Now go and hustle! ;)

Mind sharing links to NFTHive's telegram/discord channels? Tried finding them without success.

I was actually referring to telegram/discord channels of interesting collections that you found on NFThive. I'm not sure if NFThive has a telegram at all.

hi man, i will follow your journey , I've been playing alien wolds for a while now do you have any old cheap NFT to donate just to start my rplanet ? wphci.wam ,

Hey, thx man. Srry, all my NFTs are new and expensive ;)

OP really shared a lot of details with us, appreciated.

I checked some videos recently after read this thread, before I also know some enjin games, now I checked some, seems no good enough games come out, only Lost Relics seems a bit popular than others, and some people earn good amount of crypto in it, but it needs a lot of grinds for sure, also, they hold the items, can't sell now, because gas fee can be like, you want to sell $1 item but gas fee is $100 lol, so its just paper number, not real money yet, I think for this, WAX game is much better and quick to see the real money.

When gas fee down to near 0 and some AAA games come out, enjin ecosystem will have a big jump I guess.

Was looking at the mini rigs at 600 but now curious about the land. Uncommon wecanite going for about 1600usd. Would you recommend land over the rigs ? Or are they way overpriced and I should wait for the next sale, if that even happens

Nice good luck to you too!

Interesting stuff. Where can I go to learn more about this so I don't bother you with questions?

Hey I got a Mecha package for Robotech and got a Golden card which the suggested price is 1500 WAX.
Shall I sell it cheaper? Or shall I hold. This is the NFT:

Just for curiosity when will the adult industry overtake on NFT markets too?

Thanks for reading! Yea the gas fee blocks adoption and makes NFT gaming uninteresting. There are lot of protocols like Enjin that are facilitating NFT usage by reducing fees and increasing transaction speed.

Land has always been expensive so it's not really overpriced at 1600usd, but it's kind of a gamble in terms of ROI. Nobody actually knows what the exact role is of lands is going to be in the game. Buying more staking power has a clear ROI while buying land is speculation (except for the small amounts of minerals generated).

According to R-planet, after the rig sale, they were going to start with implementing the game. So that would mean that lands finally will be utilized. Over the next 30 days, land prices could increase a lot if they really launch the game mechanic (big IF). In July, they will do a 3rd land sale, so it's probably wise to sell your land early to mid-July.

Because of the latest rig sale, rig prices are really low right now.

In conclusion, buying both rigs and lands is probably the best choice :D

Jump in the Telegram of all these games and start reading every message. There's also shows on youtube like Anyobservation, Kenn bosak, z-squad.

If the cards have no other use case than collecting and looking at them, I would suggest selling. Typically, cards like these decrease in value over time.

I saw some blurred NFTs appear at 18+ content. So I guess people are already trying something, but I never really bothered so I dunno.

Thanks mate, this is very solid advide..

Agree with land being speculative, the scarcity and high prices + not really knowing what the minerals are worth until that part of the game develops is a risk, but I think one im willin to take.

I remember seeing R-planets release not too long ago and not giving it the time ( was too fixated on AlienWorlds) and now seeing it shoot to the top of AtomicHub and Dapp radar... the number of users, having an engaged community and the stake rewards with other collections, looks very promisin! finding it hard to see any real major downside or this game going down anytime soon.

Now... its time to buy some land.. haha!

Thanks
H

Hello all, hope you are having a good day.

A few things have changed over the course of 1 week. Let's look at them per NFT game.

R-planet
I've used a lot of my WAX to buy some more R-planet NFTs since the prices dipped a bit due to the rig sale. Got some amazing deals and managed to gain around 12K ae p/h. The price is slowly starting to increase again, so hopefully, it will continue to rise again.

There are major updates coming to R-planet, like the Robot Wars implementation, and I expect all NFT prices to steadily increase towards the release of the game.

I'm also transferring the R-planet pool's holdings to my own account. It's basically the same as R-planet ae p/h, but it's just a sort of group buy. I just need more control over that.

Prospector's Grand Land sale
Since a few days, Prospector's has finally started advertising. Immediately, I added a few K to my position by buying some of the PGL tokens. They should be releasing information about the sale today or tomorrow according to their communications manager, so I'm really excited about that.

Metal War
Metal war has been performing very well. The user base is increasing organically and daily income since the release of the game is better than expected. Currently, Metal War has the biggest ROI in the NFT world but is also the most painful to do. This is because you have to click every hour, whereas at R-planet you don't have to do anything.
I don't mind clicking personally, especially if it earns a lot, so that's a good thing.

Looking at the speed at which they develop things makes me believe that this game will do very well in the future and my investment is safe and sound.

Gnome series
The gnome series is kind of popular and many peeps are talking about it, but there's not much money you can make with it right now. They are planning to release some sort of city and a staking functionality. Staking is already live, but very minimal and not worth it atm. However, I have invested a small amount of money and will continue to observe their progress.

Conclusion
In terms of WAX, my portfolio grew a lot which makes me very satifsied. The WAX price has recovered a bit but is still hovering on the lower end making my portfolio good for around 60k$. If WAX would go back to previous levels I would probably reach my 100K$ goal. But I'm not focused on that, I'm just trying to get a huge ROI with NFT gaming.

My only concern is the growth rate of R-planet. Over the last couple of weeks, it hasn't been growing in terms of user base. Maybe the bubble will burst soon, perhaps I'm wrong and it's just at an early stage. I don't think it's possible to tell yet. Anyway, my intuition says that over the next month, I should start taking some profit out from R-planet and reduce exposure to around 20%, but more on this in the next update.

That's it for now. Happy gaming!

can you post some urls to read?

I have watched the nft game for several years, and it looks so bad, that i thought its totally scam/bullshit. But R-Planet seems developed a much now.

Hello everyone! Time for a new update.

WAX is hovering above support at around 0.15$ and I think it will move back into the previous range at 0.20 - 0.30$ in the coming weeks. I am seriously debating to sell big portions of my holdings to WAX and then just wait for WAX to hit higher prices, but I'm reluctant to sell because of the insane staking rewards I get.

Metal Wars
This game is performing very well. Prices have increased by a lot and with around 70 units, I'm making roughly 500$ per day. I do have a lot of hamsters that currently have the lowest ROI. Over the last few days, I've sold some hamsters and bought Ants and Skunks instead. Skunks have a daily ROI of 5%, meaning that by purchasing a Skunk worth 200$, you can make 10$ per day. This is really insane. Hence, I'm reluctant to sell and more interested in continuing compounding.

R-planet
Since the last rig sale, prices have still not recovered that much. I don't feel very comfortable holding so much in R-planet because the user base is still not growing. However, prices are still increasing a tiny bit, so maybe I should wait at least a week before making big decisions. Right now, I'm selling all the R-planet staking rewards for WAX and stopped compounding. Next week, I'll decide if I should sell R-planet holdings and how many.

I haven't seen many new interesting projects. Godsnlegends is marketing themselves as a game and I bought a little bit of them. Not sure when they will release anything, but I'm watching them a little bit. Gnome series & element blobz (or immersys) are not showing the progress that I would like to see, so I'm not investing more yet.

That's about it for the update.

can you post some urls to read?

I have watched the nft game for several years, and it looks so bad, that i thought its totally scam/bullshit. But R-Planet seems developed a much now.

I would just go to their Telegram channel and read the chat history! It's not an easy way to learn, but it's the best way.

I hope you manage to sell before the bubble pops because I am 99% sure that everybody is seeing it as an investment instead of a game to be actually played.

How much actual work are you putting on this?

Lke how many hours a day do you spend working/playing/managing everything?

Also i really would like to know if any of the whole process can be automated and if working towards this goal (automation or botting) would be worth it?

I mean could someone get any advantage or speed up the whole process by automating it (or parts of it) or is it just manual work anyways?

Also, from my understanding the games dont even need to be played at all? Or you could play horribly and still win?

Is there any skill involved? Is there any difference between a good player and a bad player in terms of profit?

True.. It's a high risk to hold this investment when the game launches. It could totally flop.

I would say 2 - 4 hours per day on average. My days are spent blogging or managing NFT stuff, so I'm quite flexible.

Automation is doable, but it has to be done very well (being undetectable). I have some automation in place, but I'm not sure if it's really undetectable. It does work and I'm happy that I don't have to click buttons every hour right now. Automation is definitely giving you an advantage, but you could get flagged of course. IDK what the risks are of being flagged. There are bot farms tho that make a lot of money.

Some games don't really have interesting content like Metal Wars or R-planet. But they are working towards that right now.

There is skill involved, but not in the way you'd say. Players that make the most money are good with predicting the game economy, using spreadsheets, calculating ROI, and decide fast on opportunities/risks.

@pwetty You got some automation in place for metal wars? I'd pay some money for that.
The idea of hourly raids with 39 units is just fucking stupid.

How about dark country? They had a land sale recently. Pack opening should be this month I think.
