What's up fellow IM warriors. It's time for some accountability action, what better way than a journey thread?

Here is my journey to $1000/week blog. This won't be easy and will take some time. I will provide weekly/bi-weekly updates on growth and strategies.

What I'm starting with

• Wordpress blog - designed, analytic's ready, Ad Sense running (would love to find another network that accepts blogs with no traffic, yet)
  
• Social media accounts (aged a few months)
• FB - 1,000+ likes/followers - real not-paid

Content

• 3-5 posts a day to start out
• social media driven posts to build following

Week Goals

• New posts everyday
• Organic traffic through social media posts - Goal 100 new visitors

It seems videos are driving traffic these days. The following week I will be focusing on pre-production of original video content for the blog.

What's up fellow IM warriors. Checking in for my first update.

Numbers are trailing the set goal of 100 new visitors. Checking in with 30. Why am I so far off?

I analyzed social media impressions and have not been hitting the numbers needed to have a chance at converting clicks. Posting an image/video gets 100x more impressions on FB than a link ever does.

These new visits are based off only 3 new blog posts and very little social push. Not much of an update but I promise to check in with BHW along the journey.

SO YOU ARE 70 SHORT....

Not a worry. Major work is getting done in the video department. By creating templates now, much time will be saved when traffic starts moving. Also nailing the brand image before a video push IMO is worth the effort. I've made a video intro sting, custom lowers and info-graphic style cuts needed in preparation. Aside from effects I've put together the video structures down to the second.

Goal is to get YouTube up next week. Until then.....
