Hi folks,

I've been here for around five years and still haven't figured out a way to achieve financial freedom. Currently, I'm working full-time as a software engineer. Even though I love programming, I don't enjoy doing it as a job. My goal is to replace my job with a side hustle and leave as soon as possible. In the past, I built a couple of blogging websites, but I lacked the consistency to continue till the end. This time, I'm planning to take it seriously and do whatever it takes to succeed.

What I did so far
  • I already have some background about SEO so I did some research about the niches I could do without getting bored.
  • Selected couple of niches which I interested.

What I'm doing today
  1. Today I'm planning to do some research and select one niche as a second step.
  2. Select a low competition niche is almost impossible right now, but going to find out at least medium competitive niche
Future Plans
  1. Do a keyword research and finalize the topics I'm going to cover with in first month.
  2. Buy Domain, Hosting etc.. and build the website

hi, is it possible making money off Gmail scammers who try to get you to click on a pdf attachment? And why these people know my real name? Gmail itself is a scam, since a persistent cookie will allow anyone without your credentials(login) to access your gmail account. These people are getting creepy. All of these gmail accounts I've used I had to delete permanently because of these creeps.
I think they know my exact location given the fake email username.
 
Your journey hits home. I also have a history of creating blog sites and stopped due to lack of 'consistency". Thank you for sharing your goals, this inspires people who went through the same thing! Best of luck, following for future posts :)
 
Well good luck on your journey and i think you should also think about affiliate marketing ,adsense its good but you need a lot of traffic daily to see some income

Yesterday I did a research and picked a niche. For now I'm not going to expose it. So my next task will be buying a new domain and hosting for the website.

Update 2​

Quick update about the current situation,

I bought the domain and hosting for the website. For the domain, I bought a fresh one which means it has never been registered before. I know it might take some time to rank, but that's fine. I am using a VPS for hosting the site and CMS is WordPress.

I've noticed many people saying that blogging is dead in 2024. Because of this, I am planning to put serious effort into making this work because I enjoy challenges. Even if it turns out to be a waste of time, I don't mind.

Today, my plan is to set up social media accounts and complete the blog customization. Hopefully, I'll be able to publish my first post by the end of the day. Let's see how this goes...
