now that we got that out of the way, some tips for free money:
  • Find one product, just one winning product and you will be laughing. You can test 5+ at a time for minimum 3 days, never cut your ads as a beginner before atleast 3 days, if you do, you are throwing away money 100% of the time. Run for 4-5 days. Max 5$ a day for each adset.
  • Since its gaming stuff, you are looking at easy money doing shout outs on IG. Find an influencer by searching on IG, and ask them to shout out for 24h, and figure out the price by getting a few replies. This will be the easiest muni you ever made, at least while you learn fb ads. I got a shout out for 15$ and did 338$ in sales just the other day. Make sure the image is quality, put some text on it and give em a discount, if you find the right IG pages, you will be laughing. Try it and let me know how you go after 3-4 different ones. Remember, give em discount codes, if you get too many atc and no sales, it always means your item is too expensive.

IG shoutouts have been in the back on my mind for the past couple of days, out of interest are you finding accounts and DMing them yourself, or using one of those shoutout marketplace websites?

One concern i have is that some accounts might have a sh*tty demographic spread. I know that my fitness related IG account I made a while back was like 60% Pakistani/Indian/Rest of Asia until I noticed it and started taking steps to target only developed countries. Do you think this concern is valid, or not worth worrying about?

Yes, but how else do I research on how to get traffic? I've had 70 Unique visitors the past 2 days, 3 abandoned carts, what else can I research?
 
You can try Instagram and massplanner method for the traffic, it's also build your own brand in social media.

Yeah I will try and do that actually, I just need to make sure my producst that I'm trying to shift aren't shitty is all.

Taking a slightly different approach:

I'm going to start adding prices to my products and offer free shipping. Generally if people are going to buy something they'll buy more than one if it's cheap. Hopefully rthis will bring me some sales in the coming days, as most people have been backing off once approached with shipping costs.

Facebook ads, or use the Instagram method.

Using FL you can rack up 30+ accounts, set them to safe limits and you'll get traffic. Or use Insta to get an email list, then email them.

Stop thinking short-term with this. Long term: a email list/instagram following will earn you $$$

You may be inclined to rush around and get as many scrappy sales from X amount of methods, but don't.
Start small with one or two methods, absolutely master them both and scale up.

Take a loss for one/two months whilst you get your system down.

Yeah, I agree with you I think.

Update:
I've added prices to all of my items in the store, low prices albeit.
I've added a couple of high ticket items too, but the majority are still under $15 for pricing.
Gonna take a look at instagram now. I've already got one account that I started working with with like 600 followers so I might go from there and try and get that first..

I took a look at shoutcart, was going to buy a shoutout then realised I had to deposit 50$ which unfortunately I don't have at the minute. Shame.
