[Journey] Ranking A Site That Uses AI Generated Content

@warriorsam53 do you write "how to'" article with jasper.ai? Is it good and rankable on google?
I just published some how to articles written by Jarvis last week. It’s for a different site but I’ll let you know how they rank.

I don’t think there should be a problem. I’ve managed to rank multiple product reviews written my Jarvis so I don’t think how to articles should be difficult.

Seeing that you’ve been successful with this journey, I’ve come across many people saying that Google bans AI content, would you agree? What’s your take on it?

I’m not sure why they got banned, but so far, I haven‘t had a problem ranking AI content sites. I started my most recent AI site in Dec 2021 and it’s already over 5000 pageviews a month.

As of today, I don’t think AI content is being penalized. However, that could change tomorrow.

I do think that if Google wants, they can easily detect AI content. I’m not sure if or when they’ll do something about it.

has anybody tried CTRify for auto-generating websites?

If you can find no competition keywords for luxury watches, go for it.

I just checked to see if I can find something for luxury watches and I found an angle in less than a minute. Please don't go after this since I'm making it public here but you can use this as a start to get your own ideas.

I typed in "do Rolex" into google and saw the auto complete. The third one was "Do Rolex Watches Have Batteries". This one is super competitive and almost every result on page 1 is targeting the keyword.

So now we use this question as a base to find other keywords that don't have competition.

So next step: "Do * watches have batteries" and place the cursor after the *.

So check out the third one. "Do Cartier watches have batteries".

Here's the SERP:

As you can see, it's really easy to rank for this since there's nobody targeting the keyword. The results on the page aren't really useful. Compared to the Rolex keyword, this is a joke to rank.

Tag Heuer is the same. The results are rubbish. You can use alphabet soup to find additional keywords like these.

You can use a similar process for any niche. If you're using AI, it's best to go after simple yes/no questions. It's much easier to write those with AI. Go for questions starting with "Is", "Do", "Does" etc. You'll find some good yes/no options.

I hope that helps.
Thanks for sharing this method, I just tried it and come across this query " how fast can you make money with bitcoin "
I need some opinions about this, do you guys think this is an easy to rank KW or not.

This is an interesting one. I'm not confident about the difficulty of this keyword but I would write it and give it a shot.

Here are some thoughts:

Nobody is actually answering the question about how quickly you can make money with Bitcoin ✅
Even the YouTube videos aren't answering the question ✅
Strong sites are ranking because of overall authority. Their content is irrelevant to the query. They don't even have sections on their pages that talk about how fast it can be. ✅
I checked the same query for real estate, affiliate marketing and drop shipping. The pages ranking for those queries are super relevant. ✅

Almost exactly the same SERP for the query "how to make money with Bitcoin". This keyword is competitive. ❌
The keyword is unlikely to have significant search volume. ❌

If google is treating the intent of this keyword the same as "how to make money with Bitcoin", then it's not going to rank. Otherwise, it's an easy keyword. I would write it either way. I hope that helps.

Thanks

Thanks for your input. Your analysis is very interesting and even if the term we're talking about is quite competitive since it's money-related I'm confident about the method.

Do you put any images on those posts?

I love your journeys, do you keep bh separate from hw in relation to payment? How do you go about it? I'm having quite a difficult time figuring it out.

so you dont really care if many are searching for that keyword or not? You just look for low competitive keywords and thats it? I know its hard to know the real search volume but how do you deal with this?

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you mean by bh and hw. If you can rephrase your question, I'm happy to answer it.

I care a lot about how many people are searching for a keyword. I don't go after low volume keywords. It's pointless. The keyword in that example you quoted was just an example to explain the process of checking competition.

I have my own method of determining search volume and I'm pretty confident in my estimates. It's not 100% accurate of course but the estimates are better than any other tool out there.

Here's a way to do this:

When you get familiar with Google autocomplete, you'll realize that for some search terms, there are many different variations.

For example: "keyword research without tools"

You maybe find these variations:

"how to do keyword research without tools"
"how to find keywords without tools"
"keyword research without using tools"
"find keyword without tools"
"research keywords without a tool"

When there are many variations of the root keyword, chances are high that the search volume is considerably high. On the other hand, there are some keywords where you don't find another variant of it. These are probably topics with less demand.

It's not a 100% accurate way to determine search volume, but tools aren't either.

Also, it's always good to use common sense. That's where it comes in handy when you know the niche, or at least have a good understanding of it.

That's how I'm doing it personally.

Hi. Wish all the best with your journey. Sounds really interesting ))
By the way, where do you take pictures from? Free from pixabay etc. or just google?

I Try to find underserved topic but it seem difficult to find kw no competition and have search volume. Can you show me an example to understand this type of kw

If you go back a few pages, you'll see some examples I've given. It's not easy to find these keywords and it takes a lot of time but it's definitely possible. You should also check out the video I posed a couple of weeks ago that goes over how to analyze competition.
