Hello everyone,
I have been a lurker on BHW for some time. I had some success back in the days, one of my websites had 3 Mio. visitors a year (mostly from Pinterest, it was a wallpaper-like website). However, as I started college, I had to sell all my websites (no time to maintain) ;(
Now I only have 1 semester and 10 credits to finish before I get my degree - and I think it's time for me to get back at it again.
My master plan
I want to start an authority website, the niche is going to be in the "nature" category. Why? Because I have a lot of experience with Pinterest and ranking images and it's really easy to get nice pictures for "nature" type articles.
As we all know, building an authority website takes a shitload of time and dedication. This is why it is going to be a super long run. This is what I am planning to do:
The reason I started this journey on BHW is to motivate myself. This is why I will update every 1/2 weeks. I have all the ingredients, all I need is courage. Let's go, boys!

As we all know, building an authority website takes a shitload of time and dedication. This is why it is going to be a super long run. This is what I am planning to do:
- Before summer - I still have to study a lot in this period - I will publish two articles a week (one informative and one social media friendly) and I will also build some social signals and hopefully some followers (I will focus on Instagram and Pinterest, as I never got a lot of results from Facebook and Twitter before).
- In the summer - Now that I have a shitload of free time, I will try to stick to 50 hour work week to test if I have what it takes to make it. With all the social signals I will have by that time, I can start some serious link building without worrying too much. I will try to double down on informative articles to get juicy traffic from Google.
- Next semester - I will finish my 10 something credits that I need for my degree. This means I will have a lot of free time to add some quality content on the website.
- Next year - I will start monetization of the website. Maybe some articles like "best products" with an affiliate link, or maybe I will start an e-commerce store with the brand, I will see
I don't plan on doing any monetization before next as I have some $$$$$ left in the bank.
- Bought an xxxxx.com brandable domain name and also hosting. I can't believe I actually found a 5 letter-.com-easy-to-remember domain name for 5$.
- Made social media accounts and got some followers (Pinterest: 500, Instagram: 250, Facebook: 50 and Twitter: 5), most of it comes from automation as I don't have legitimate content now.
- Made my first 3 social media friendly articles, about to finish my first informative article.
- Got some Reddit juice.
- I have approximately 30 visitors a day coming from social media (Reddit, Pinterest, and Instagram mostly).
The reason I started this journey on BHW is to motivate myself. This is why I will update every 1/2 weeks. I have all the ingredients, all I need is courage. Let's go, boys!
