Thanks guys, really appreciate the words of encouragement. More fuel to the fire! :hippie:
I double-checked and both of those figures are correct for exact matches in both the Keyword Planner and in Google Search. Hope it's okay?
So today's update:
Let's start with traffic from yesterday, makes more sense to do it in that order since at the moment everything that I'm doing seems to be a direct result of whatever I do that same day. (Oh, how I long for organic traffic).
Traffic:
Yesterday I got 394 page views, 383 of which were straight from Reddit where I submitted an article that I posted - it got to #1. The other 9 page views were from organic search, which was another record for the site - the searches were all for a slightly longer-tail keyword.
What I did today:
I was about to re-publish that content when I thought I should actually check on Plagium for duplicate content and sure enough my squidoo page is still indexed. So I'll only re-publish once it's de-indexed, any way to speed this up?
Rankings:
I see my highest rank article has now shot down 51 spots again! (???) I imagine it will go back into the top 10 in the next couple days but I don't understand what's going on at all. I see I'm ranked at #22 on google and #7 on yahoo for that slightly longer tail keyword I mentioned earlier. Cool.
That's it for now, I think I'll write another Ezine article tomorrow morning so I'm gonna go get some sleep. Night y'all :cow04:

- 2x bookmarks for each Tier 1 site (4, now including my Ezine article)
- 1x social signal for each Tier 1
- Set up a new Tier 1 Wordpress with the content from my Squidoo that they unpublished (1,300 word article and I illustrated 11 images for it - not giving that up!)

haha, I'm glad if I did help though - let me know how it goes!I honestly didn't get a chance to do a whole lot today as I had to do something for money on the side quickly, all resolved now so looking forward to soldiering on. While I'm on the topic, does anyone know what I should do with a spare $160 to help me rank (I know it's not a whole lot)? Possibly a tool to automate some link building so I can focus a little more time on content?
Anyway, this is what I did do:

Pretty frustrated that my article got reported on reddit and probably like 5 people will end up reading it this week. Oh well, I'll keep pushing.

how many hours/day do you spend and how long has this site been started? 9 organic visits seem like a week old site or so.

hi op...I got 2 questions for you,i hope u can help me by answer it..
1.The google results above,is that in quote or non quote?
2.can u tell me how u do the keyword research? are u using the "quote" method in google search to checking your competition or u just only check the top 10 at first google result page (using moz metrics such PA,DA etc)
