So I decided to start this thread to record my journey of creating my first business Instagram account.
I wanted to have a place for holding some accountability and track my progress. If anyone were to offer some advice along the way that's icing on the cake!
Rundown
Bio: The account focuses mainly on offering t-shirts/ apparel to a target demographic.
Strategy: Has been known for a while, but it's mostly not black hat (atleast for the monetization), so this is going to be an experiment. For this account, some black hat would be interesting.
Monetization: No surprise, the account posts are all primarily offering apparels so the monetization is established day one.
Resources: At the moment I have a few bots at my disposal, but have ran into issue (will describe below). I have also purchased a copy of IGKing's Ascend Viral so I hope I can got some value out of both the eBook and private forum.
Budget: The cost of starting this whole gig so far has been about $22. The set up doesn't involve me needing a warehouse as I already have a middleman that does everything for a cut of the sales. So in the long run, I don't have to spend anything to maintain this business.
Issues so far: The account has a few posts already before this thread was created BUT was put on hold for a few weeks (no new activity). I tried to run a bot that autolikes new posts for certain hashtags but got "action blocked". I then let the account cooldown for about a week before I was able to do this again.
I also trashed the bot because of this, but I also have another bot that seems more legit. I tried to run it but came into an authentication issue where it would force me to change passwords. At the moment, I used the bot and hopefully I can get it back online.
Believe it or not, the method did bring in some attention and new followers (<10).
