[Journey] Growing My First Amazon Affiliate Website

What does your homepage look like? One pillar article or something else?

UPDATE: BOOOOOOOOOOOM! Just made my first sale yesterday, 220$ product + some accessories. About half of my keywords are now on the first page, time to make some new pbn links and get to top spots. Super excited to see how big this site can get.

i think this is reason why no sales. i think is better sale products from 100$ to 300$.
Well it might be true but since the keywords have buyer intent, I don't think it's because of that. But once I get a lot of clicks daily, I'll start optimizing and testing to see if including alternative products help.

looks great good luck ,will follow this and see the end results :)

Thanks!

Homepage just displays some of my posts, nothing fancy

How did you find expired domain? it was indexed or not when you bought it? All the links were pointing to homepage or inner page when you bought this expire domain.?

what kind of Link stat have for your PBN sites and what are the TF average of them?

Hey man you been quiet for awhile how's everything going with sales and ranking?

Wow I totally forgot about this thread :weep: Didn't work on the site much after September last year as I ventured into other business models. I stopped paying for pbn hosting so my rankings dropped a little, as well as the domain rating on Ahrefs.

Last month I decided it was time to bring the site back to life. I re-designed my best & review articles and added new content. It started picking up right away, new posts get indexed within an hour and big G seems to like the fact that I'm updating the site regularly (as well as publishing content that's 95% relevant in google's eyes). I even outranked some authority websites in my niche for the product review keywords.

After re-optimizing the pillar post, it went from #80 to #30 right away, then climbed up to #14 in the next few days (22k volume). Overall, the website started to rank better and I'm not 100% sure why, it might have something to do with the core update even.

Traffic is decent, I'm getting clicks to Amazon, BUT...
Barely any sales. Except for some cheap products every now and then, that bring me ASTOUNDING 15$ revenue per month. o_O

If we take 3% conversion rate (3% purchase of people who go to amazon from my site) as a base for this website, it should be making at least $150 per month.
After doing some research I realized people usually buy the products I'm promoting on other e-commerce websites, not so much on Amazon. So that explains my low conversion rate.

I applied as an affiliate for the other 2 e-commerce sites and I'm linking to them from all of my posts as soon as they approve me. If this doesn't increase CR, I don't know what will :D

I am stuck in similar situation but have not applied to other e-commerce sites in my niche. Will like to see your results.

What system on indexer? Please tell me ??

I'm buying domains from brokers. I'm using Priority prospect for hosting

Can you give a little more details about the purchase (is there any forum? Or some site? Or ...)
Can you recommend any of the brokers.
