Journey from Zero to 1 Million

.. Perhaps I should rename it to journey from Zero to $1.

I decided to start a new journey and give it another try.
I'm from Europe, no native english and 34 years old. Tried some stuff, but never successful.
The best months, years ago: $50-$150 (3 leads)

So I'll begin again with 0 and for motivation purposes I'll post here regularly.

Plans (the first days): (will be updated)
- Poker NL2
- Build a blogger blog about this journey
- more blogger blogs
- explore twitter, tumblr...
So in other words I don't have a good plan...

My plan is to try some methods posted here and to learn...
and post about my experiences, websites and some other stuff.

Hope it goes well best of luck.... but you say you don't have a plan... first thing you need is a plan then get to work buddy.
 
Good luck with your journey. Just find a good method and stick to it. Even if you fail on that one you will have a lot to learn. Keep yourself motivated and take action.

Youtube and Google+ confuses me.
Don't know yet if I change all and name it new or if keep wemakesomemoney as channelname/twitter. Haven't used Google+....
 
I think you need to be more focused.
This way your just drifting and hoping you get lucky

Better to think, how am I going to get traffic.
Also poker may be a much easier term to rank for in your own country
So think about using your own country TLD
 
Hitting your first $1 can be almost as hard as maintaining that $1. Good luck.
 
2nd day:

After making the From Zero to 1 million blogspot blog, I still don't know if I'll use my wemakesomemoney youtube and twitter account, Google+...

I played some poker NL 2 6max. From $8 up to $13 = + $5.
(At other poker rooms I made another $20, but these I don't wanna put into...)

When I make 1-2BB per 100 hands, and 500 hands/hour = 20-40c per day?

Still no plan. Signed up at *******, don't know if it makes me any money or disappears before it starts. Alexa Rank 34k.

The next days I'll post a list of the Top 300+ youtube-traffic accounts, don't know if it can be useful... most are gaming/minecaft... acounts.
and I'll explore the other journeys and money making methods...
 
Day 3 + 4:
Not much happened.
Played some NL2. Day 3= +$1, Day 4 = -$1.50
Ges. = +$4.50

Still no other ideas.
 
Day 5+6:
Played some more NL2.
Day 5 = -$8. Many badbeats and not so good sits. (KK vs AA, KK vs QQ, QQ vs QT, AK vs 99... all lost)
Day 6 = +$1 (played a pokerstrategy community tournament and got in the money.)
= -$2.50


Still no ideas.
 
Some ideas are to stop losing your money playing poker and start doing some PPD with youtube.
 
Seems to me no one makes really money with this mehtod.
Most vids get flagged, accounts banned...
Read the 15 year old journey. Inpired, but he used black hat and didn't described his whole steps.
I wanna use max. greyhat.
Worked through all threats in the forums but found no method yet for me.

Thought about trying the Google Alert Method.
Made a blogspot blog, 1 review, good template...
Set the google alert...
but,
only onlinenewspapers, disqus or facebook plugin to post...
and even when I find a place to post a link, it always looks like spam.
I mean I have also very rarely clicked on a link in a comment.

Don't know any niche, which can work for this method.
I think it's esp. for some niches and blogs cross-niche-marketing is better than post a link to the same niche...

still no ideas that work...
 
If you are good at web design, we can do some ppd together. I'm good doing all the rest needed for successful ppd + yt.
 
not that good. Learned only some css. Tried some bootstrap...
Set up only a blogger blog, which means a nice template... from a good free templates site

You can learn HTML, JavaScript in a day and JQuery two more days. By that, I mean learning how to use the tags and the functions. Then practice 2-3 days making (responsive) website design and you'll get the hold of it.

As for method, just grab 10 threads from the Making Money forum, go to random.org and pick one. Then stick to it like it's your long lost brother and read some journeys about people using that method to motivate yourself and get advice about what to do and how to do.

About the Hold'em - you can make much, much more money by CPA/CB/PPD a day, plus the risk is lower if you do not have good bankroll management and discipline. Anyway, if you decide to stick to it download books, lots of books and watch video tutorials.
