Journey: Creating a Stable SEO Business with ZERO $$$$

WOW! ive only just found this thread and ive got lots of questions which will hopefully be answered as i get further into whats already been written but its way too late here in UK to carry on reading, so im bookmarking this and will be back to digest the rest.

I do consulting work on the side.

I am working on selling links without the analysis hassle in local markets, which is what this journey is for.

Consulting, the problem with it, is a very time consuming task depending on the site. Despite the fact I only tell people what to do, fixing some websites takes hours which I do not know until I begin working on a project, so I want out of that business.

It has given me an eye for evaluating KWs and websites rapidly, which makes SEO a LOT easier.

Hi lightningblitz Think I've read probably all of your posts on this forum and learnt a hell of a lot so far. I registered a few tumblrs with a public proxy browser addon. Week later they have all been terminated. I then just went and made a normal Wordpress blog.

You mentioned about the Wordpress shortlink making things easier when creating mass shortlinks.. When I use the shortlink it only ever gives me one version of it in the "Edit post" window. How do I get muliple versions? Is there a way to do that on Wordpress, or do I just run the WP shortlink through the shortlink services a few times like Bitly Google etc. Thanks.

You rock!

What sort of proxies are needed? For instance, I use some good proxies from Star Proxies. They do everything fine
BUT
Wordpress deactivates my accounts sometimes withing minutes. Soup.io does something very similar. So does BCZ (all do follow sites)
I put up 2 articles on each web 2.0 that I built. NO links at all (wait, I may have an authority link on a couple of them)
Now i am sort of aging them before I put a link to my site on.
(all sites built with AFM (Autofill Magic), approximately 100 total working web 2.0s I built)
I spread this out over my 10 Star Proxies.

So here are my question

Do you think proxies are the reason some of my sites were deactivated so quickly?

(these 2 question sort of go together)
How big should i make my 2.0s. 5 pages, 10 pages, 50???

How many links can I put on my web 2.0s? (once they age should i put a link to my money site in every post, every other post, or what?

Is there a maximum limit to money site links? Like no more than 5 to my money site per account
(also, I left my profile link off of every web 2.0, if I am not supposed to be the blog owner why would a webmaster put my link in his profile, that was my reasoning, it would be a footprint to search for)

How long is the "aging process"? one week, one month.

I read tOmmy and lightnigblitz posts but they did not touch on this (except for the time to age), or they did it so subtly that I missed it. Fantastic posts by the way. I read them and got a great overview and a solid game plan. Neither one dotted all the i's or crossed all the t's but if you cannot get going with those guides you probably will never make it in IM.

I need to go the safe route. My site is 6 or so years old so I did some backlink building with premium blogs using RankerX and the lesser blogs to backlink to them. Now it is time for some do follow links.

Do you think it is safe to add one do follow link per day? Can I do more if I link to different KWs and pages in my site. (I have about an 90 page site, about 10 of those pages I can be competitive on at this point, when my traffic increases I will pursue harder KW on different pages) To clarify, can I add more do follow links if they go to different KWs and pages but are not LSI, they are, within the niche, totally different KWs.

Thank you for considering my question and thanks for starting this thread.

I create one shortened URL with the Wordpress blog. It only gives one shortened link per post. I then build a couple more shorteners with Google / Bitly and spam them. Cheap and easy SEO.

As for Tumblrs getting banned. I often use a proxy rotation plug in to sign into them. But to register, I use a unique IP address. You can use public or private proxies, but I make sure each account has a unique one for registration now.

A large number of things could make them go down. IP address, email accounts, a huge list of tiny foot prints can cause it.

I will try to answer everything:

1. Proxy can cause accounts to go down. So can:

- Spun Content
- Same time all registered
- Emails
- Spam with back links
- Logging in from same IP
- Etc

A lot of things can make your Web 2.0 go down. The way I do it is I take one proxy and build a web 2.0 on every platform I want to, then move onto another proxy. When using Autofill Magic, I run the gambit of every site I want with a proxy, then move onto another set with another proxy.

My Web 2.0s have some default pages (Contact, About, Etc), a couple articles and that is it. These are Web 2.0s I build only as a blog to place a link. Some Web 2.0s I want for referral traffic and do KW research for or I want to help rank for a long tail KW. But general Web 2.0s they are just to have a link. So I put some filler content and pages and put my article and link.

I go for one link per Web 2.0. Other people believe different things. I believe that more links means less link juice. So I want to put up more properties.

I also keep profile links away. Some profile links are good. A lot? Bad. It does create a footprint.

Aging process for me is this:

Build the Web 2.0s up one day. Let them sit and I move onto doing other things. I go back to the property in a week or so and see if they stick. If they stick, I add my link. Two weeks feels right to me. Longer is a waste of time.

As for how many links you can build a day, one link a day is a very little amount. It is my belief you can't build too many web 2.0s manually in a day to make a difference or seem like spam. Just keep working.

No problem. Feel free to ask away in public. If you have a question I am sure someone else does too.

Hey lightning I really wanna say thanks for all the help you've been giving me.

I got two questions:
For every web 2.0 I make, should I use the link shortening spamming technique?

Secondly, if I want to rank a parasite would I just spam it with links as much as I can? Or do the 301s as I normally would?

Hey Lightning,

I just want to thank you for this thread. I learned quite a few things from it. I started setting those thoughts in motion a few days ago. Thank you.

I'm creating a lot of new 2.0's right now. I have built it up to around 65 (a lot for me).

i got some Fivverr gigs to create them on a lot of different sites. I then use TOR to go into each one. I like and follow a bunch of people on the ones that I can do so. I then create 1-4 posts on each. No links added until around 2 weeks after they are created.

The links to my money site are roughly 50% to home page, and the other 50% spread out to other pages.

On each 2.0 I plan on placing 1 link in 1 post to my money site. I am going for 15% exact match, 50% naked url, 15% generic, 20% LSI.

After I have added all the links, I plan on hitting them with PBN, gser, blog posts, etc. I saw you mention 301 redirects, but I have no idea about that?

Does this sound right to you?

Thanks again!!

Every? No. Keep it random. A - B - C type of link building creates footprints. I do it on a good chunk of them though.

I once used 301 URL shorteners and spam to rank Parasites. Now I use more powerful link building methods and spam. A Parasite needs some authority to rank and 301 shorteners do that.

Replies above, and I will get to your PM shortly, I promise.

You are close my friend.

15% exact match is a LOT. Lower that number and diversify more.

301 URL shorteners are sites like Bitly to shorten a URL. Some are do follow and pass link juice. It is a way to add spam to a Web 2.0 but prevent them from getting taken down. It is a trick I use (As do many others).

Aside for that, your strategy sounds good.

Do not waste PBN posts on the Web 2.0s unless they are the cheap 600 for 10 bucks sold, or you would be better off saving money and getting something better.

Thanks for the answers!

Gotcha on lowering exact match. Will do.

Gotcha on 301 with bitly and such.

I'm feeling a bit dumb about this though. For example, say I make a web 2.0 as tier 1 to link to money site. Do I place 301 shortened link in my tier 1 web 2.0, linking to the money site? Or are you saying to make shortened links to my tier 1 and use that to spam out to tier 2?

Sorry. I'm just confused about that??

Thanks again!

So just getting shortened links with bitly actually creates a tier. Didn't know that. Thanks again!!

Yup. Most people I know do not do three tiers. Tier one are the goodies, tier two is spam.

I only do three tiers now when one of my tiers includes URL shorteners. The rest is a waste of time and resources.

Small Update:

PBN build for this is up to 29 sites (IIRC). All hosted and putting content up. Time to decide what to rank with it and how to sell posts on the network.

BHW is out of the question. I have decided to not sell anything on BHW. So I need to find some IRL clients.

One of the first business owners I worked for was a friend. I ranked some Parasites up for him and set up social media pages (Those were the Parasites). I know his family is full of business owners so I will reach out to him soon and see if anyone needs some work done.

So it goes:
Money site < Web 2.0 < Do follow URL shorteners < spam

But we do not want any spam pointing directly to our Web 2.0s? Or is it OK to have spam + Do Follow URL shorteners pointing to Web 2.0s.

........................

I am building a bunch of Autofill Magic (AFM)web 2.0s and I need to get some social activity and backlinks to those pages.

Is it enough to use the bookmarking sites that come with AFM?
Or should i use FCS Networker or RankerX to build the backlinks and social bookmarks?
(Would GSA-SER do this?)

I am looking for something that will let me concentrate on web 2.0s. With RankerX the setup was pretty fast and I just sent all my backlinks to backlinksindexer. Is there a similar service, but it would build more substantial backlinks and do the social sharing to all my Web 2.0 pages.

That is the structure.

You can spam Web 2.0s directly. The problem is some will be taken don due to spam. The shorteners are just a way to protect them.

GSA SER would build book marks for you if you want. So would any of the other programs. What ever you are comfortable using. It all gets the job done.

Try 1 password for teams its absolutely free and awesome for storing passwords
I use it for web development to keep track of WP sites and logins

I will try this but just buying the tumblrs and register them, I get back with my keyword score for serp and see if move
