[Journey] Create "Residential Proxies for Cheap" Service

Hello Everyone.

I am in the botting game since 2012.
I am planning to start a new Residential Proxies company.

I decided this step because the simple fact that proxies are 20 - 30% of my costs, so I want to develop my own proxies company.

First thing, I had to decide which kind of proxies should I offer: Residential, Mobile or Datacenter.

1. Datacenter proxies are the cheapest, but they are easy to install and trade.

2. Mobile proxies are more profitable, but require a knowledge that I don't had right now (maybe in a few months).

3. Residential proxies are gold mine. I think they are the future.
But I wondered how can I get 1,000 residential IPs, at an affordable price?

After some research, I found some articles explaining that services like Luminati work over a botnet.
That means: a Trojan software scattered across a lot of computers worldwide, as a hidden part of the installer for any other legal software.

So I should resolve 2 problems:

#1: The Router By-Pass Problem. Every personal computer in a home or an office works in a LAN (Local Area Network). To get such a computer working as a server worldwide, you have to setup the port-forwarding in the router.

Obviously, I can't ask people to setup his/her router.
So, how to install a proxy server in a residential computer, and get it working behind a router?
(I already resolved this problem, and I will post how did I resolve it in a further pos)


#2: The Scattering Problem. How to get my proxy server running in thousands of peronal computers around the world?

I am in the process to nail this second problem these days.
I will post here the plan in a few days too.

I was thinking your approach.

The problem is that I have no control when the proxy is available and when it is not.
Because a personal computer is not online 100% of the time.

give them something valuable vpn or proxies for free and use their IP when they using your service.

What do you think about a Residential IP marketplace, where each use can share his/her IP address with other users, for a certain list of sites (Example: Facebook), and receive credits in exchange to rent the IP of someone else?

(I am evaluating this option)

Years ago when netflix was not available in my country i used to stream it using USA proxy. It was browser add-on service FREE. they have millions of user from worldwide. later disabled it when i found they using my IP.

It's very important to me.

Yeah... running it like a virus will not be stable.
Convince people to install the server with any kind of ethical bribe is better.

I have some choices (brainstorming):

* I can offer botting service like an agency, automating the accounts of the clients (social accounts management): This is not to get a bulk # of proxies.

* I can offer automation software for free, in exchange of the proxy server installation. I have 3 pieces of software I can offer for free right now: LinkedIn Search Scraping, Bulk Social Accounts Creator, and Friend Requests Automation.

Any other idea is much appreciated.

I know that.

I am thinking "what" should I offer.

And I wonder how stable will be:

* how long will be the proxy running before a user decides to remove it?

* how many hours a day will it be running?

* how to handle proxies that are not online 24 hours daily?

You remember the name of this browser add on?

Be sure to hire ,proxygo for promotion.

4G proxies would be much easier to manage since you own all of the hardware, and with resi you have to constantly keep track of the speed/online status etc.
