I have a lot of friends from highschool and college, bunch of them have talent, but zero motivation.

There are two of them that still in contact with me :

1. MR. H, a very good video editor, very good at creating Motion Graphics and using After Effects, Photoshop, or Premiere.
2. MR. N, a skillfull artist, I once remember in my school lab, he draw a freaking masterpiece by using a ducking Microsoft Paint and a terrible Mouse, in just a short time. It still blows my mind till now.

Guess what, despite their potentials, they don't have a good stable income.

We're living in a third world country, and even as small as the minimum monthly payout amount of Adsense ($100) is almost twice the minimum wage where they're living right now (country side), and it could change their life forever.

I want to help them, I want them to success and have a happy life with a stable income.

My plan is to build a Youtube channel together, and split the income 50/50. I want to create a kind of Studio/Company to accomodate people with talent like them.

Why Youtube/Video? because I think it's the easiest option for now, and it's linear with their skills.

WHAT WE HAVE RIGHT NOW

1. A Youtube Shorts Channel in Animation and Fantasy Niche

Created With Mr. H around 2 Months ago, focused on shorts for the growths and due to the type of content.

Videos : 13 Original Shorts
Current Subscribers : 900+
Lifetime Viewers : 300.000+

Condition : I create the concept, text, and audio, Mr. H. turns it into a motion graphic shorts video. Sometimes when I'm in the mood I also create the video myself. We only produce maybe around 1-2 shorts per weeks due to our jobs, but I think we can do it faster starting from now on. The average viewers range from 3k to 20k per video, one of them get viral and has around 200k viewers.

Our Plan : We're not in a hurry, we enjoy & love the niche so creating these shorts is something we like to do. Since shorts ad revenue is still next year, we plan to just continue creating more shorts and wish more of them gone viral. We tried to use amazon affiliate on pinned comment, but don't get meaningful results (40 clicks with 0 sales, even though it's a specific item and the visitors already know what to expect) so we stop doing that because youtube doesn't like to move their visitor away from their platform.

2. A Youtube Channel in "Funny" niche from my Previous Journey Thread

Videos : Maybe around 100+ , reuploading from tiktok
Current Subscribers : 13.000+

Condition : This used to be a reupload channel with millions of views from shorts. I'm not interested anymore in stealing content so I stopped long time ago.

My Plan : I want to change this channel into a kind of real life storyteller channel (with image drawn from Mr. N., I know a local youtube channel in my country that has a success with similar niche with Millions Subscribers, and I 100% sure it will work in english too. I will create the story, concept, and audio, while Mr. N create the timelapse of his drawing. And I'll compile it all into a Long videos.

THE PROBLEM

1. Mr.N's gear is suck ass, he literally drawing using his low end Phone and his finger (yet he could still draw a ducking masterpiece!) but I don't know the quality if we turn it into a timelapse, we'll check it later and see what can we do.

THE QUESTION

1. Shall we create a brand new channel for Mr.N or use the 13k subscribers one? will it impact the exposure if I delete/private all the previously created videos? I didn't expect anything with the 13k channel, i'm gonna treat it like a fresh channel.

I'll try to update as often as possible, but I think I'll only update when there's any big things happens.

Thank you and wish me luck.

Why can't they also commercialize those skills as service even in their YouTube videos?

you can use your old channel and i think it will work well because you used to post tik-tok compilation and its likely the audience will like this long form of content and tbh if your old one gives you CTR and retention your content will blow up even faster.

Dude trust me, they’re sucks at social skills and self esteem. They won’t even capable to sell their skills. Just skills is not enough, people need the ability to sells. Why I don’t help them directly sells their skills? because I want it to be a passive income.

I experimented with the channel but it sucks lol. More of it on my journey update.
Niceee keep it up
Hopefully the results is also nice!

UPDATES

1. Channel 1 :

- Subscribers finally passed 1k, yay!

- So we did something terribly wrong as a new shorts channel. Which is pushing QUALITY over QUANTITY. We edited the video as cool and animated as possible, just for thousand of view. While some random jimbo in a same niche upload constantly by sacrificing quality (but still good, just not the best, basic) and one viral video is enough to surpass our viewers by 1000 times. We learned it the hard way and from now on we’re gonna push QUANTITY over QUALITY, but still maintain the quality as acceptable as possible with our standard.

- Remember the over-quality video from earlier? it would be a waste if we just leave it there, so we agreed to modify the scripts and animation a little so it will be more than 1 minute, horizontal video and upload it as non-shorts to pump the watch hours. So far it looks promising, first 20 hours it has 1.8k impression, 3.8% CTR, 80 viewers and keeps going up till now, with around 85% watch duration rate. If the results is promising (maybe got around 1k views on that video) maybe we’ll make more long videos next time.

2. Channel 2 :

- Given the script to my friend just a couple days ago and currently haven’t received the results.

- I experimented using an AI generated image for story telling, and currently has ZERO views lol. Literal zero.

- I honestly didn’t know what to do with this channel, I start to think what they said about changing a youtube niche completely is real, it’s impossible.

- I started to consider using an aged brand new channel for the storytelling videos.
