Hey fellow peasants.
The time for century-long war has come. Grab your favorite snacks and lay back comfortably on your sofa as you watch me struggling in this upcoming battle.
Anyway. Enough chitchat.
This journey thread will mostly be about my attempts in various white-hat business ventures. From the start-up to liquidation phase. Expect it to be updated weekly as I don't like to write very much.
Now, what is my current project? Android apps.
A classic.
There are several reasons why I choose this route. The most important was the scalability of it and the existing daily traffic to the play store. Not to mention the clear user's intent. I like to compare Google's Play Store / Apple's App Store with Amazon. There are not many differences, just that the products are instead Software.
Unlike traditional e-commerce businesses, there's no need to try to make the user/customer to trust you and this cause them to be more willing to spend their money. (Very similar to Amazon don't you think?)
I will be coding the apps myself as I want to minimize the expenses in this business as much as possible at the beginning. But as the profits continue to rise I will then try to outsource the majority of the development work and focus on the most important aspect. Marketing.
Why go through all this trouble?
My most important focus is to solve my customers' problems. And money second. Which is only possible if I am the one coding everything from the ground up (Well, kinda. Libraries will be used.) This is to ensure my apps are of high quality and will meet my target audience's needs well.
The revenue stream will come from AdMob, In-App Purchase, and Paid Apps (Future plans).
What have I done so far?
As this is the first week, I had only time for trying to find several niches I can provide value in with my apps. But by the time you read this. The development should already have started. That is all for me this week. Expect next update around the same time next week.
