Hello guys,

I decided to start this thread to keep me motivated and share my results with you guys. I owned several websites before so I am experience enough, although i learn 1 or 2 things every day. I am the kind of guy that will keep learning new things every day in respect to what i do. Earning money online.

Anyway, this project is about a website/blog where i share a variety of paid digital products.It is a nice looking website with a premium theme, designed to my needs. I am using propeller ads (pop ad), google adsense and i get paid per download for the links that i share on usercloud.

I started the project on 13/2/2018. I am using WordPress with Yoast SEO.

What I've done so far.
2 Youtube Videos with links to site
58 Published Posts
Website Logo
Domain for 1 Year + Hosting

Goals
[] 20 Downloads per Day until 31 March 2018

Day 1
  • Published 6 Posts.
  • Corrected 11 download links as they were pointing to a previous account i had.
  • Google Search Console has indexed 22 URLs from the 109 Submitted
  • I am currently ranking for 4 keywords.

I find keywords and long-tail keywords using Keyword Planner from Google. I rank for keywords by mention them in the posts and with the help of Yoast SEO.
 
What do you mean under "I am using propeller ads (pop ad), google adsense". Do you use them to buy traffic to the (basically) wares links?

No, I am using them to earn additional money other than PPD. I am currently aiming to drive traffic to the website using Search Engines, Youtube and Social Media.

I am using Usercloud but there are others where users have to complete a survey to be able to download the file etc.

Day 2

  • I fixed some SEO related URL's which appeared in my GSC today as errors. (simple redirects)
  • Created 10 Tier 1 Links manually with High DA > 90.
  • I spun - edit an article to make it sound real as Tier 1 links are important for longterm.

In the next few days i will be creating more content plus some filler content for each Tier 1 link. It will surely take some time and i will be updating the thread every day.

My plan is to go with Tier 1 links first, observe the ranking if i am getting higher in the SERPs etc. If it doesn't work for the niche, i will be creating Tier 2 links and same procedure for Tier 3 Links.

I couldn't do more as a friend of mine visited so.

Youtube Views (Last 48 Hours): 9
 
Day 3

  • I Created filler content for the first Web 2.0 blog. More specifically, i created 2 posts, contact me and about me page including site title and site description. Tomorrow i will upload the last post with an article of >500 words with links to my money site and authority sites + anchor texts + the keyword i want to rank for + images + video. After that, I will move to the second Tier 1 blog.
  • I also created the main post for the second Tier 1 blog + 1 filler post.
  • I fixed 12 images with the alt text to contain my targeted keyword.
  • I uploaded 5 new products on my money site.
No download today. The site is starting to get indexed by Google. Impressions of pages/post increase every day.

Why don't you use adfly or another service to get a little more $$ ?

You get few cents with Adfly while you'll lose a lot of people that would end up on your PPD page. Let's say you get 1k visits - ctr of donwload button.. let's say 50%.. and your offers epc would be 0.06.. that means you would earn $30. If you would use Adfly then let's say you would lose 20% of traffic due to that.. you would then have 800 people going to your site, with 50% CTR.. 400 people clicking your offer.. that would be $24. With Adfly you would earn how much with 1k visits?

I will consider it when I have 50 - 100 downloads per day. It will almost double the income.

This is interesting. But why lose a number of people with adfly if they want to download the product? Do they hate it?
In addition, I am not working with offers. My users are able to download the products without the need to complete any offer and i am still getting paid.
