[Journal] Yet Another Journal...

And one more thing. On my stock market site, I have started constructing an auto responder series that will teach people how to trade options and include my actual live trades. That's a longer term gameplay though for wealth management.

The fiverr gig was a bust. I got a whole 2 real views and a bunch of auto-traffic garbage.

Took a big leap the other day. I bought a site off flippa for a little over $5k with a verified 3 month adsense income of $871/month. I'm pretty skeptical that it will make that much, but we shall see. Even if it only makes a third of that, it will be a decent purchase.

I also started a new site today for a business that I have had in my head for a long time. It's a crowd funding site in a very particular niche that requires expert talent. Essentially I will be brokering the talent to the customers for a 30% fee.

Oh, and I posted a guide to getting a tax Id number for your DBA over in the business & tax sub forum. If you need a new tax number because you need a new Adsense account or whatever, that's how you do it. Hope it helps.

I created a little blog as a more complete form of this journal. The blog allows me to categorize things more easily.

So today's post is about how I started my hosted company. My model is to offer a free, basic website when they sign up for hosting, and offer upsales later.. I'm still in the set up stages.

Got 2 more articles up today. http://netmarketingefforts.com/2-more-adsense-articles-published/

Also have a mailing list idea for a service that someone in my family provides: http://netmarketingefforts.com/mailing-list-idea/

I'm a fan of the income report idea. So here's mine: http://netmarketingefforts.com/income-report-january-2013-edition/

If you're a tl;dr kind of reader, I made right about $1k this month.

I know that's far less than some here, but about $1k more than most ;). So I'm pretty pleased with it.

Net profits are about zero because I'm rolling everything back in to content and new sites. I got a little spend-happy this January. I'll be more vigilant in the future.
