[Journal/Method/spoonfeed] The 'Crashed Challenge' 30 Days to Money...

How accurate is Statpress as far as counting the number of visitors and pageviews? I have had over 40 visitors so far today, about 30 yesterday and my total since we started is at 108. Could this be right? If so, could be promising eh? Thanks Crashed for all you have done so far. This thread is great! I have actually hand written the entire thing so far in fear that it would somehow get erased. Man, i'm ridiculous.

There was a vid about making backup for your site.

Hehe uhm I just copied and paste it ;) No need for handwriting

if you just copy and past then you dont really deserve to earn $ from this guide lol.

I think they were talking about the guide itself... For the people worried about it being deleted, I am just taking this from the crashed challenge blog at http://crashedchallenge.info ... Everything is there also!

Just wanted to thank you Crashed :) Already made my first $1.60 from my website via a cpa offer.

Congratulations, if you stick with it over the next 3 weeks you'll increase that!

Was this website following the challenge (apart from jumping ahead into cpa :p)?
And was it a new domain?

I have 9 posts up already on a pretty easy to rank for keyword that has a lot of traffic but seems as if I am averaging only 6 visitors a day? Just seems like everyone else has a lot higher than mine. Maybe the content in my posts aren't long enough or good enough? It's odd cause the content is good I am from the USA and my English is near perfect. I only write 360-420 word posts though so that could pose a problem for me haha.

Yeah I literally built the website specifically for the challenge. Purchased the domain about 8 days ago. And I did a couple other things beside the challenge. The challenge was definitely the basis though. I just went ahead and implemented some other methods that I already knew along with the challenge.

Nah I don't think that's it. My posts are around the same length. I think you're selling yourself short. 6 uniques a day already is really good. Especially if it's mostly organic

It's not the post length... Have you done a tweet for each post? And are you doing them one a day to make it look more natural?

6 visitors a day from organic traffic in under a week is good, we'll increase traffic now with other techniques though!

How do I remove this ?amp&amp from the end of posts ?

go to edit post, you can choose between VISUAL and HTML.

I think its in the html code, delete what you are looking for, be careful, copy everything first and paste it in a notepad so you will have a back up incase something goes wrong

or it could be in the style.css

Are you copying your articles directly from Word? If so copy your articles into Notepad, then copy them again from notepad into your blog.

If not the easiest way to work out if it is a them issue is to add a blank post to your blog, if it still shows on this post it is a problem in the theme code. If not then you are somehow getting extra formatting in your post from where you are copying it from...

I am learning so much from this, but i do have a few questions. sorry.

First off all, im kinda lost with twitter/ tweets. What exactly are you tweeting everyday? Lets take your bestgoals site for instance, your last post was, who is the best .. what does your tweet look like for that. is it just "hey new blog post up @ yadda yadda"

Secondly, i havent started working on my sites yet, kinda waiting for more updates to your challenge (Which i appreciate soo much)

I have 2 vacant domains from failed projects. One is http://www.getmicrosoftpoints.info (currently gets no traffic really, was a failed complete offers to get microsoft points site) and the other is http://www.babesthatgame.com ( currently has nothing on it, was an idea that never really got started)

I was planning on using the microsoft points as my challenge domain for this, what do you think?

Also, i accidently forgot to turn off my auto-renew for babesthatgame.com and now have it for ANOTHER year (lol) Does anyone have any ideas on a challenge site topic for that site? LOL :)

Anywho, love this thread and your site, again, thank you.

Just a few ideas off the top of my head...

1) (what I'd do :D) Some kind of niche porn website with girls getting frisky with their game consoles etc (this stuff exists)... You'd have to find a source to get these images/videos and be able to post them legally (get the rights to the images) or alter them enough so they aren?t exact duplicate images (by flipping image, cropping, changing color and removing descriptions within the image data etc) because you can get in a lot of trouble for just copying these images directly (There's a thread around BHW explaining this more clearly, can't find the link right now).

2) A site aimed at female gamers. In terms of getting traffic to this kind of site, I don't imagine that there are a lot of female gamers who are searching for terms like "female gamers" etc so you'd have to figure out something else to reach them. Twitter would be good for this, as well as joining female-only gaming clans/communities and pointing them towards the site.

3) A site for general/male gamers, with the usual gaming reviews/videos/news but with a "babes" kinda theme. E.G. hot girls in the header, a picture section with hot gamers etc...

I think in general it is quite a difficult domain to work with as it isn't really linked directly to what many people are searching (afaik)... maybe someone more experienced can give you more tips...

Good luck :)
