[Journal] I'm ready now!

Your condition was the same as mine - I was reading and reading and not taking any action. However, I realized it in a short few months and decided to stop reading and proceed forward with all that I know, and I'm currently doing that now. Should have a site up by tonight and will begin working on ranking it tomorrow. Need to get it to #1 postition before March otherwise i'll lose majority of the traffic next year.(It's a seasonal niche with decent searches, low CPC, but an amazingly low competition and amazingly high traffic spike + desperate people searching for it.) Perhaps I should start a journal as well :P

I still haven't gone to sleep yet, OMG.. I feel like my eyes are about to pop out of my head! I got my second post finished on the site. My mission for tomorrow (because I cannot do anything else tonight) is to first figure out how to get this link cloaking plugin to work properly. I mean, I cloaked my link with it, but Idk... I think my brain is fried. The plugin should be fine. I think I just need a properly formatted HTML link, and I need to figure out how to make color text on my WP.

Anyway, good night BHW. I'm so out of it right now.....mehhhhhh.....

EDIT: Okay, so I got in my bed, and jumped up when I realized something. I forgot to ping my site after I made my second post. Okay, now I can say goodnight to you guys at BHW.

Wow! So after all this work, I'm at about 80% completion with this site. However, I made a huge mistake that may be quite costly! For anyone else working with this system, there is one thing that George does and tells you about early on, but you need to be careful to pay attention. I feel I've done everything perfectly except for this step, which could potentially screw me over with this site. When I was doing my keyword research, I based my site around the results of the Broad search, rather than the Phrase search. Damnit!

Well, I want to see some good in every situation, and the good I'm seeing in this situation are two things.
1. Luckily, while the Phrase match is pretty tiny, the Broad match doesn't have too much competition, so I can still probably rank well.
2. I've learned a lot from building this site. I will finish this site, just in case, as my YouTUBE video has already gotten over 10 hits, and I just put it up late last night. My next site shouldn't take nearly this long, because I've had the experience of doing it.

I just know that I need to be more careful with future sites, not to overlook anything. I'm just glad I popped on video#2 to catch that error of mine. I won't let this mistake defeat me, and if need be, I will fail my way to success!
 
One small advice is:

" Keep Walking"

Just don't stop or ever get lazy while doing this now. Because if you stop then years pass by just like that and you don't even realize. Saying this from personal experience so take it with a smile :)
 
I've finished with my first Sniper Site! Keep in mind the mistake I mentioned I made earlier, but I'll keep my fingers crossed, anyway. In addition, I've learned a lot, and this process should be much faster with the next site, and faster after that.

I have a great feeling of accomplishment, and I'm researching my next keyword so that I can begin my next site. Thanks for the support through this one, everyone, and I'll keep you up-to-date with tne next sites. :) The goal is success through IM, and my journey just began.
 
Just an update before I go to sleep... My site JUST NOW got indexed by Google. I've been checking it all day, and it seems that it's already on the 3rd page, in the 5th position. Mind you, this is when I type in my keyword with quotation marks, but nonetheless, I'm happy to see it rank so well and so fast. This is good news!

Is there a faster way to see where your site ranks on Google with and without using quotation marks?

I found a site named googlerankings dot com, but it's not showing me anything.

EDIT: Well, I just typed it in and scrolled through the results the long way. I'm on page 9 in the bottom position when I type the keyword without quotes. Not bad for the first day, I suppose... I'll give it some time. Meanwhile, my next site will be started tomorrow.

Can I ask what videos and PDF you watched? I searched for Google Sniper but was unsure of what you actually watched etc..

If you aren't doing anything blackhat, consider using webmaster tools. They tell you exactly on what position your website appears, how many impressions it gets, clicks, and for what keywords.

Well, there are several videos to watch in the series once you get the program, and there's a pdf manual to read and follow along with when you're new to the program.

I plan on using some blackhat methods if I need to get my rankings up. According to the system, I shouldn't need to, but if I don't get the rankings I want, then I most certainly will.

BTW, It seems that without the quotes, I've dropped to page 10 from page 9. I'm going to try to make another blog post, and then ping site and regenerate xml sitemap. Hopefully that will help out.
 
Well, my 2nd Sniper Site project is underway!
I have my Main Keyword. I have my 2 LSI Keywords. The domain just finished propagating, and I'm ready to get started. I learned a lot from my first site attempt, so this one shouldn't take as long. I need to gather and configure all my plugins. I'm also going to try a few new plugins that I've come across.
 
UPDATE: It seems my second site has already been indexed by google! I'm trying to find where it is, but no luck just yet. Also, with the first site, without quotes, it jumped way back to page 29 ( from page 10) for some reason, yet with quotes, it moved up to page 2 (from page 3). Weird.

There's a certain feeling you get when you first decide to take action. It's like an adrenaline rush. Then, when you complete your first site, there's an adrenaline rush, but combined with an immense feeling of satisfaction. Now once you get your first sale, I cannot exactly describe the feeling. It's really humbling, but I had a slew of emotions hit me at once, and in this order: Joy, disappointment, regret, understanding, satisfaction, pride, hope, love, belief, hope, belief, love, joy, and satisfaction. Guys, this really is possible. So many people say to take action, and while that is very true, just make sure you're ready first. Someone made a post here that really meant a lot, whether he intended it to or not:

A piece of advice for all-nighters, and this is dependent on where you live, but Adderall works wonders on helping you focus if you have ADHD.
 
lol. Now I just need to find where they sell it, though I don't have AD'H'D.
 
Congrats for the first sale. You create nice journal, you take action, you work hard with your heart and you already have positive results. Perfect example for all new BHW members. Many sales are coming in future. I am 100% sure. Good luck!

p.s. what is ADHD?
 
The first step is really the hardest. I remember my first step, took almost 3 months to actually sit down and start seo and designing my site. But once you're through that slump, you're golden. (Well, in a way...)
 
Thanks for the great feedback, guys. I have just now 100% completed work on my 2nd site! Feels great! I was hoping to have been working on my 3rd site, but it's taking entirely too long for my keyword research. I need to get a faster keyword process.
