[Journal] I'm ready now!

These seem like unrealistic goals (maybe not, I don't know what your keywords are) but I would say you will be lucky on most sites to make $10 a month, especially micro niche sites. Im not saying all sites make $10 a month, some will make much more and some much less. I am just saying this is a rough ball park figures for the average micro niche site.

Yeah, 100k seems like way TOO high... :(

When I say 100k, I'm not referring to tomorrow or anything. In the system, it states that these sites should average around $300/month. So using number's like that, I'd need of these 334 sites, which isn't exactly a short-term goal, nor are these numbers absolute. What I meant by that statement is the fact that I'll probably never reach a star if I'm not at least aiming for the moon.

I'm going to sleep for the evening. When I wake up, I'm watching Scarface, and then I'm getting back to work. g'night, all.

That is $10 per site per day. While this is doable I think the system is overstating its ability. Depending on your niche you may be lucky to get $1 per day on average unless your sites rank very well.

I just don't want you to put all your hopes on $10 a day per site and get them dashed. I would prefer you be more realistic and aim for achievable goals which gives you satisfaction that you are making progress. You may hit a site that make $20 a day but for each of those you may have 50 sites that make $1 or less a day.

Yes, I understand. None of these sites use AdSense, so I'm depending more on a commission than clicks to earn profits. If I sell just a few items in a month, I can hit that limit. For example, the site that's made the sale already (and without even ranking yet on Google), earned me over $25 from just one sale. All I'd need to do is sell 12 of them in a month to achieve that $300 mark for that site. The main thing is that I somehow need to arrive at the first site of google when someone types in my keywords. I'm not sure how I do that, because I appear on the 3rd page now when I type my main keyword in quotation marks, but if I don't use quotation marks, I have no idea where my site is. I wish there was a way I knew about that could tell me which page I'm on without using quotes. Oh well. Even if I could average around $100/month per site, I'd be more than happy.

you are great!

I'm in the same boat as you and also think a little like you about IM.

Holy Crap! It's finally happened! My first site is now in the first position of the first page on google SERP for my main keyword if I type it with quotes! If I type it without quotation marks, it's STILL on the first page, but it's in the second position, only beaten by the vendor's site! Well, that and two youtube videos. However, I don't quite understand how the official site outranks me for that keyword, because when I check their meta keywords, this particular keyword I'm using isn't even listed for them. Weird.. Well, so far, that is the only site I'm having an easy time with locating on google, to find where it ranks. Please, if anyone knows a better way to find where your site ranks for keywords, please do share. Now for the most part, I've just been adding material to my four sites over the last couple days. I've been working with all sorts of on-page SEO goodness surrounding my main and LSI's. Because my LSI's are about as good as my main keywords in terms of search volume, I'm hoping that if I can rank #1 with all of them, then I could greatly enhance my traffic flow. Yesterday, I had my largest amount of organic traffic for one of my sites so far. I had 5 unique visits! I know that it doesn't say much, but the fact that all of it is highly targeted traffic is mostly what counts. Out of the 5 people that came, 3 of them clicked on a hoplink. No purchases, but we'll see!

Nice work. Try to work out why hyou ranked first for that keyword and not the others. is it the compeittion ? Is it the backlinking strategy ? etc. Find what works and then repeat it.

you can check here on what position you are exactly for any keyword and any google (.co.uk for example)

Thank you for that link! I'm just getting back home from a long journey.. I took a bus to Atlanta, drove with my dad to Chicago, met with a lot of family, drove back to Atlanta, cleaned out a storage unit, drove to Virginia, then flew back home to Florida! All of this in the last couple weeks! It was great to see everyone. It was great to enjoy a ton of food that I regularly don't have. It was great to have some time to gather my thoughts. Now, it's great that I can finally get back to work on my project. After all that time, I just checked my ClickBank account, and I've not gotten any more sales, which completely goes against the claims of the Google Sniper method. Having said that, I think it's about time to rethink my strategy. I want 2012 to be the year that I stop "working for someone else", and become exclusively an Internet Marketer. I know that's a huge statement, but in 365 days, I should be able to pull it off. I'm a little discouraged, but I won't lose faith. Happy 2012 to everyone!!! Let's make some money!!!!!

Glad you're back. This was one of my favourite journals and I thought you abandoned it!

I like the way you type with your heart, instead with your fingers. I wish you all the success.
Happy new year!

I'm stuck in a hard place right now.. I've been spending the last couple days trying to play around with my link placement, but no success yet. I'm going to leave them how I had them originally. Still no new sales, and I'm at a bad spot. I have less than $100 to my name because of how my job works. I haven't worked since October, and I just spent the last chunk of my cash on my Rent Payment... I just got a call that work will be starting up again soon, but I'm down to my survival money, so it's going to be difficult to buy domains and whatnot. I'll be spending this time, just trying to optimize the sites I already have for optimal success.

Sorry for the lack of updates, guys. I've hit a really low point in my life, and I don't know if I'd been putting too much faith in working online and/or not enough effort into establishing a means of offline income. I'm starting to think that my mother had something to do with me getting my first CB sale, as my first and only sale came from shortly after I produced my first site. She won't admit to it, but it just seems odd that a couple days after I told her what I was going to do, I get a sale, and then no other sales in almost 3 months. I've since been threatened for eviction from my apartment, my job's downtime still hasn't ended yet, I've created a few more sites, borrowed money from everywhere I can. I HATE BORROWING MONEY, and even worse, the rent is due in 2 days, and I don't even have half of it. Nobody is letting me borrow any more money, so it's only a matter of days before I do get evicted. My world is in a pot of crap right now, and all I hear from my family now is "get a job". I don't live in walking distance to anything I haven't already applied for. My father's solution is to walk farther. I can understand this logic, but I've already walked everywhere within a 3 mile radius, filled out job applications, called the people back, and still haven't heard anything. All I have left to eat are two packets of oatmeal, a half loaf of bread, 1 slice of sandwich meat, 1 slice of cheese, and a half gallon of water.

I don't know what to do. I really want to find success online. I've taken action, even through these tough times, and on seemingly working methods, but I'm not seeing any results. Somehow, I still feel that everyone claiming to have "made it" online isn't completely full of crap and that it is actually possible. Perhaps I'm a fool for holding onto this hope of IM being possible even to me, but that single thought is what helps me to keep my sanity throughout this dry season.

I wish I could be here posting positive news but right now, my reality hurts. Sorry guys, but I may have let some of you down. I may have let myself down. I'll keep trying until I can't any longer.

BTW, if anyone knows of any ways to produce cash somewhat quickly online, and doesn't mind sharing info with me, my next rent payment depends on it, and I'm all ears. Thanks.

Thank you, but at the moment, I cannot afford to spend money on much of anything :( I'll bookmark this site for future reference.

leith posted up a nice fiverr gig resell guide, step by step. He made $600 in a few days, you'll find it if you search through moneymaking section. I doubt you make as much with no experience, but a few $ in a month shouldn't be impossbile.
