hi guys

the new terms & conditions of microsoft are really brutal.
With the new AI, they take the right to scan all content on your device for copiright violations and delete your account. Microsoft will scan, monitor and patronize your entire life on your computer.

What can you do?
Its time to switch to Linux!

I recommend beginners to switch to Linux Mint https://linuxmint.com/ and install the free tool Safing https://safing.io/ to monitor all apps and connections

True, moving to Linux is the best option for those who create sensitive software or handles sensitive information. I myself develop everything on a Linux system, just for caution as ive seen that more and more systems getting access to closed or private information vs public availability.

With this attitute nothing will change and the west will become like china.
xD True, some information should stay private, even your browser history. But big tech is raking is billions of your private data, so the more private info they can "legally" obtain to use against you the better. Not even a VPN will help you these days, your browser has unique identifiable values that most social or corporate companies can track. There will be a time that most will move to secure their private information, away from these "legal" information gathering systems.

I don't even have their account i just use windows as usual, if they delete something from my PC without my permission that's a fine way to sue them

They being doing the same for years, the diference now is that they will do it aggressively and won't try to hide it, to me nothing new is like keep working as usual, they will target someone, important targets.

I'm not kidding, I have old distro of ubuntu on an old harddisk, time to go john wick and dig.

They'll make sure you approve that clicking "accept" on TOS first, If you don't, you won't be able to use windows, and I don't know if you heard the news or not, they are working on introducing a cloud version of windows, no more offline I guess.

Broski I don't even have license key, my windows hasn't been updated for like 1 year and i disable all automatic updates, fuck them. But they ain't this dumb to do this i think, since if they do they will lose bunch of users
