Creating this thread so I can post some motivational quotes from famous persons, It should motivate us if we feel low, You can also post the best motivational quotes you ever heard!

Motivation is mental masturbation. It lasts for 1, 2, 3 weeks. Then a rainy day comes after the sunshine and you do not feel motivated to execute your shit.

What keeps you actually going is action and discipline, motivation sounds good only in theory not in real life.

Anyone who is consistent over time day in day out knows exactly what I'm talking about.

some of the quote may have been lost to time, but the message remains: failure is part of the journey to finding success. in my own experience, failure tends to still have elements of success within it. perhaps one project/idea didn't work, yet resulted in code i can reuse elsewhere which will be successful. reckon such things are all a mindset? how one views the world and interprets their experiences etc. in practice it can be difficult, because failing does stink and can be demoralizing.

anywho, it's nearly friday and i hope all of you lovely internet money weirdos here have a nice weekend :)

Couldn’t have said it better.


I judge people here based on the amount of corny motivation quotes they post.
There has to be some sort of correlation between motivational shit posted and the amount of money one makes.

I highly doubt that anyone who posts some motivational bullshit on the daily makes any substantial amounts of money.
