It's been about 2 years... any news?

It's been about two years since i've created a new blog.
I know SEO is evolving fast, are there any new tricks to watch out for? I'm talking about on-page and on-website SEO, not about backlinks etc.
On-page SEO is the first and foremost thing which you need to done well. Make sure with your content quality to each pages of your site.

Also, you need to ensure with your niche relevancy and how much you have utilized your targeted keyword in the content properly.

These are the some simple and basic things which is noted by Google to rank your site.

ChatGPT loves to use a few specific words, often. Like the word "delve." In "normal" writing you just don't encounter that word often. With ChatGPT articles I ask it to write, "delve" is almost always included, sometimes multiple times. Same with "furthermore" and "moreover," and "in conclusion."

I initially hand-edited out those words. But then I thought, "why am I doing that work when ChatGPT caused the issue?" ;) So now when I'm asking ChatGPT to write an article, I include in the prompt: "Do not include the words "delve," "furthermore," "moreover," or "conclusion" in your response." Problem solved.
Very chatGPT great tips, thanks

Same basic stuff man

The site is performing well so far. It's not even a month old and is already getting some clicks.

I have a quick question:

Suppose the keyword (KW) of an article is "free xxx yyy," and my slugs are formatted like this: website.com/category/free-xxx-yyy.

For a specific topic, I initially published an article with the slug without the word "free," like this: website.com/category/xxx-yyy. Then, I deleted that article and recreated it with the new slug: website.com/category/free-xxx-yyy.

Today, I checked Google Search Console and noticed that the article with the slug "xxx-yyy" was getting clicks and impressions, but the new article with the slug "free-xxx-yyy" is not getting any impressions. The search term people are using is "xxx yyy" (i thouhg that adding free to the slug would notn have had effect on the ranking for the search term without the "free" word)

Since the site is only a month old, does it make sense to change all the slugs so that they do not include the word "free"?
consider that the word "free" is already inside the domain name, and its in the title of the article and also subheadings

Whatever you do, do not use A.I. content as your site will be penalised by Google!

you need to keep reading about it...you can't simply ignore it for two years haha

i've given up on on-page... After HCU, majority of my traffic is from organic social search now.

I have noticed that google is ranking forums higher than ever indicating that opinionated articles are beneficial for your website.

There are many things to learn from these new algorithms. stay informed and explore more about them.
