To the Italian dudes on here, are you seeing anything crazy happen on the ground like in those leaked Wuhan videos etc.? People falling over on the streets or being physically taken away by men in vans?

What's the general sentiment around town? Are people not turning up for work and staying put in their homes?

just imagine how many people get in close contact every single minute in NYC.. hopefully the USA hospitals are ready for this.

Nothing like that. We're going to see the reactions from tomorrow, when many more activities will be closed (Movie Theatres, takeaway food restaurant etc.) .. some people are actually working from home (smartworking is increasing thanks to this virus), other people are allowed to stay at home for security reasons, other are going to work using precautions. My girlfriend is working as a cashier and she has to wear gloves, keep distance between her and the customers, not more than 3 people are allowed to stay in line.

Do not shake hands, do not stay in close contact with other people, do not kiss, DO NOT touch your face (eyes, mouth, nose) with dirty hands, WASH YOUR HANDS MORE OFTEN than you already do.
