Last month one merchant from CJ extended my commissions and the reason he gaves me was that they were charging shipping an handling and because of that they had to made some corrections. The corrections were made and they shaved me 90% of my commissions. I tried to contact the merchant for 2 weeks and got no reply from them. After that i contacted CJ and they told me that they have thousands of affiliates and because of that they must took some time to reply. When i asked to someone from CJ to make the contact for me, they said:

"We do not have anyone here at CJ who is managing the account, so our only contact will be the same as the contact you are reaching. We will place a note over to the advertiser, but there is no guaranteeing they will respond to our inquiries either."

Wtf? The only network that is promoting their program is CJ, they have thousands of affiliates and they dont have anyone to manage their account! Thats a joke for sure.
I made more than 500 sales and more than $100,000 in sale amount, if i have someone that did that for me i would call him dad:D

What should i do? Thanks!

File a lawsuit. If you really made 100K, paying a lawyer a few hundred to draft up a nice threatening letter will be well worth it. Send one to the merchant AND to CJ. Congrats on earning the bank, and good luck getting it.

He said the sales were 100k, not his commissions..

Yes, it was 100k in sale amount, not my share:( But they shaved it, so its like i only made 10k in sales.

unfortunately, there is nothing you can really do about it. The only thing you can do is not promote them and tell other potential affiliates that they shave so beware.

Set up a "***is a scam" blog, tell the merchant you are gonna PPC the shit out of it until they give what they rightly owe. You will spend $500 per day and these costs will be added to the bill should they wish to pay at a later day

They have 7 days before you start promoting it.

If your sales were that good (which obviously they were) they will believe you have the money to spare to throw at it.

Takes 10 minutes to set up the site/blog, 10 minutes to write the email then just forget about it and go make some more money while they stew over it.

I have done this on a number of occasions and have only had my bluff called once

They replied today, and they told me that the AM was fired, and that they were looking for a new one and when they find him i will be contacted. Even if they pay what they should it will be next month. They will pay me march commissions in june! Its easy to do that, just extend your commissions for the first month, made a correction for the second just paying a low amount of money and the rest of the money in the third month delivered as a bonus.

Komas, that restores my faith. Please keep us posted as to how it works out for you. Your story is very beneficial for other CJ users at BHW.

Davejug1, when they called your bluff, did you put a pr7 domain on the case?? hahahaha. I love it!

Im still waiting for a resolution, but i dont think they will pay. See the reply from the AM regarding my issue:
Code:
"Those decisions were not understood by all and unfortunately I
cannot question it now, this is late in the process".
Ok :yield:, they took me 5k from last month commission, but they dont know why and the show must go on...
If they want they can take all your money, and theres nothing you or CJ can do about it. That merchant paid me all the commissions from april, no sales extended neither corrected, but for May many of my sales were corrected, all were big sales. Im thinking in expire my relationship with them and i already cut half of my ppc budget for their offer.

damn, that is some lame-ass response from the supposed 'new' AM
sounds like bullshit to me mate.I would take yeti_racers' advice and speak to a lawyer

We are at the mercy of these companies since we have no way of knowing how much sales we actually make. Who knows they don't take half our sales and only report half.

Closed means that they will pay you that commissions this month, usually on 20th.

I am not sure extortion and slander would be the best way to resolve anything, but it looks like it has worked for you.

But it could backfire on you in a big big way, you could be made to pay for all losses due to your slander blog and also face criminal charges for extortion. You can't say this "addsitehere*com" site is a scam, you only could say I have been scammed by this site and tell your expierence. Well from a legal standpoint at least.

i would create a spam blog about their product, tell everyone how shitty it is, PPC it, and then start stuffing it with their cookies. You can't force them to be honest, but you can even out the teetertotter a spot or two.

Hmmmm..... With all the shaving, dumping for commish, etc. going on it begs the question...

"why doesn't somebody create a "fail" based merchant"...

What I mean to say is that somebody must have thought to either create their own product that competes with one they got screwed by the merchant/network on... Or a merchant that simply focuses on finding affs that have been screwed and build a network/merchant around that base with products essentially the same/similar to the ones the screwed affs are good at promoting.
