It just me or Google result becomes completely craps now days

I'm one of many many web owners who's get big hit from Google update since late 2013 .
Back then G drive us to fall on Bad Hackers guilt as we break their miraculous rules since G makes no mistakes at all .
Like everyone else I tried to create fresh start new domain new niche (no Spam of any kind ) and waiting for his majesty (G) to give us glance , but no hope even after one year with unique good quality contents site authority still -1 (un trusted ) ,
Yes this is how Google treat new sites as 100% scam , why not since their is million of sites provides similar contents why waste their servers energy and do real contents analysis as long they have their secret ranking tables .
The reason I write this post now because recently I tried to learn about Electronics (DIY stuff )
a week ago I did search for some circuit (which it bit popular ) , Google results give me almost the same sites I usually found when search for other components , even these results comes from high authority sites but it contents were not that useful (in fact they were duplicated ) having same contents of the official site ,
few hours ago i did deep search for the same components but with more KW's the first result were exactly what I was looking for (a real experiment and detailed explanation ) ,
The same thing happened to me when I search for other staff , I hardly find what I'm looking for even I start reading comments fro people who found other solution of free wordpress blog Link (since G mostly wipe out that blog from search results long time ago ) .
As you Google crazy updates didn't hurt us as webmasters but it destroyed the whole meaning of the Internet for one result making more profit as much it possible .

Sometimes Google's "relevant" results are many years old, which makes many results completely pointless. Sites with "authority" don't mean much when results are irrelevant to what you are looking for.

They are trying to process everything but it's just not possible. The web is too big. No wonder it's a mess.

15% of the queries daily are brand new.

And look at the total amount of queries for today and year.

I totally agree, Google is pretty much useless nowadays, first you get ads, followed by videos and then suggested search.

And yes, if you click on suggested search you get more of the same garbage.

I have seen this for a while now but since my observation of Google search algorithm changes come more from an SEO perpective I am always reluctant to say anything, that is until a couple of weeks ago I found my youngest daughter searching on Bing for a school research project.

I asked her why she was using Bing? She answered, because Dad I cant find anything on Google.

My whole family pretty much switches between DDG and Bing now "it saves us a lot of frustration" they are not perfect but certainely seem to offer more relevant searches. I personally believe that most people don't know any better, all they know is Google.

Yes, they are not always accurate, but they still have the best engineers and the most money to continue tweaking their algorithm.

I still use Google, becasue while I get disappointed with Google sometimes, the results Bing or Yahoo presents are disappointing nearly always.
At least that's my experience...

It has become a mess, no doubt. But still they hire the best engineers around the world. Ads run their business, so thats a bad for us, but good for them

Google search became like sh*t too.

The more time pass, instead of providing better user experience, they’re drowing down..

That's anecdotal. Billions still use Google without caring about ads etc.

Yet their ad rev is increasing year-on-year. YT operates under a loss and they have to use ads to make up for it.

G+ was a failed project. Microsoft failed at search and social but they are still afloat.

They are nowhere near "drowning down".

Are you sure about that ! I don't have estimated numbers but what I read here back to 2009 YT was costing G ~80$ million to operate , even they said they have their own methods to reduce the cost compare to industry cost (even lower now days as Bandwidth becomes much cheaper ) .
The main issue here G lowered the authority/trust factor etc on most of website on the Internet .
Pre Penguin madness update you were easy got PR 1 on month or so , just add your site to couple web directories and you're doe , G bot will crawl your site normally

Yup, everyone knows that youtube operates under loss or break-even.

Everytime google buys something, they moneytise it, and turn it into sheer crap.

I dont think so. I think results are becoming much more better.

Yes I have found that the search results have become more "sales"
based - they are "training" us to let them think for us,,,, LOL

yah i would definitely say that google results have been very questionable. I would not even be mad if sites with better content were overtaking mine but that has not been the case. Alot of very old / outdated content has been going up on first page of google for many of my niches.

Absolutely agree with it. i think "ads" < this is the main problem and because of it we are getting scrap results.

Spamming the forum (posting your own thread then also posting the same question on other people's threads when your comment is not reverent to the thread) wont get you an answer any quicker mate. Probably a good idea if you read the rules ect in the noobie section
