It feels very lonely in this world....

accept who you are
you are putting yourself under pressure, you say that your likings are different and you have different ways of thinking

so look for people who look like you, even if on the internet...it is not easy, but there are billions of people, at least some of them think like you, that's for sure

as long as you try to force yourself to try to be another person, you will be unhappy

Wow, I can somehow relate to this but the only difference is I have not made as much money as you.

Your looking at it from the wrong angle. That's why it's depressing.

Money doesn't make you happy. The absence of money will make you unhappy.

You have eliminated the absence of money. Now your next goal in life is to make friends so you can enjoy the excess money.

Your goal in life isn't to make money. It's to be happy. and you have just eliminated one thing that can make you unhappy. Stop thinking that making money is your goal, it's not. Happiness is your goal.

Humans are social animals, if you don't have friends to socialise with or a partner then that's your next goal to work towards. Introvert of extrovert, it doesn't matter. The difference between the two is the amount of socialising you need, but you still need to socialise to be happy.

I can relate to you because I'm the same way, I feel the same. Except that I still have a very stressing 9 to 5 and I make peanuts (450 dollars/month). I try to make money online with apps and mobile games but 0 money for now.
You have it good because you are financially independent and you can do whatever you like... if I made that much money I would buy a lot of books and read all day.
In your case, it is possible that what you are missing maybe a girl? If yes, you should make a gf and just spend some time outside with her, travel together and do all kinds of little things like admiring nature, watching movies and all that.

when you make good money and when you try to socialize with someone, you always think that the other person is talking to you just because he wants some favor out of me.

Get help while you still can, a therapist can really help in life.

then don't talk about money
talk about music, movies, sports, something you like
when you have confidence in this person and you are sure that this person really likes you, then you can talk about your personal life and your work

YUP a girl maybe.

I can feel what you're going through. I'm also going this kind of situation where I'm at work but doing nothing productive. My days are going like I'm not doing anything that gives me boost and trying to repeat the same cycle and living monotonous life. I know I need to get out of my comfort zone, need to do something that keep me excited and busy but still I can't push myself. But you're really courageous that you wrote about your situation here. I wish we both can find something that will change our lives forever.

You know what could make you happy? Helping others, or sharing something. For example, you could share some of your money with me. :)
Jokes aside, I think helping other people is a great way to overcome loneliness and depression. If you have free time and don't know what to do, you could maybe volunteer to a local nursing home or something like that?
Otherwise, I'd suggest finding a hobby that you really like. Perhaps learn how to play an instrument, if you haven't already? You have more than enough money to afford the best instruments and lessons, so why not?

Easy cure.

Find someone to talk, love and share your life, happiness or even sadness.

Give money or food or anything to poor people. When you see their smile, you will feel happiness. Trust me on this.

Basically, human are social creature. You feel empty because you don't let people in.

You are lack of emotion mate.

Just open the gate, get out of your comfort zone.

Your goal in life isn't to make money. It's to be happy.
The goal of being happy makes people unhappy because it inevitably becomes a clearly empty endeavour at some point.

People think they want to be happy, what they really want is to have their life mean something and to be significant, even if that's just being an amazing mother/father, or whether that's colonising Mars.

Fundamental happiness comes from realising a significant life, and it's why one of the worst feelings (that almost everyone has felt at some point) is the frustration of trying to figure out what you're going to do with your life.

Have you thought about helping others? Charity or just help people any way you can. Free of charge. Not saying stop working, but to do some charity when you can? This generally shifts the perspective a lot and brings joy that money or material possessions can't.

Try doing more things you love to do. Sounds like you’re making enough money at this point. Create memories and do things that have purpose. Supporting a non profit and volunteer work could be fulfilling. You just have to find what works for you

From what I understand the OP's concern is to have someone to talk to about his work, which is understandable, everyone talks a lot about work, but those who work over the internet can become isolated because people don't understand about this subject

so I think that although valid, the suggestions of charity, helping people, visiting hospitals and whatever are not the point here
