It Became Impossible To Promote On Reddit?!

Hello my friends!

I have been trying some methods to promote some affiliate products.
On Reddit, this is impossible! Every single sub-Reddit is under moderation and does not allow any type of affiliates or self-promotion.
So, did it become impossible to promote on Reddit?

Reddit was always like that IMO. Unless you have full ownership of the Subreddit.
 
Yes they are crazy fast on the ban button, you need to start questions and lead then to your product. Problem is it takes time
 
Scrape this site and find unmoderated subreddits. I've done that for adult.

Some how lots of people do not know how to follow reddit.

Before posting to any sub you need to read the rules, that's the first thing I do. If the rules are ambiguous, I just message the mods to clarify things for me. And ask them straight if I can share a link.

In 2017, it was easy, all I did was share the link then fire up upvotes, never got banned at all.
 
You need to be sneaky and behave like normal but not like a spammer.
Reddit always does this and will do this but that does not mean nobody is doing the promotion. :)
 
op i think small sub reddits have less restrictions try to posts on multiple small SR insted of big SR
 
It's nothing different between Reddit of 2018 and Reddit of 2020, in terms of promotion. The main thing is to find related subreddits and post eye-catching things. Don't be spammy ( for example, maintain a ratio of 1:10 - Where 1 represent your own post, and 10 represent normal user activity: posting related comments, etc ).
 
You guys are forgetting even if you get traffic.. Reddit sucks in conversions!!!!!
 
Blind spamming became harder - promotions work just fine.

What if my conversions are ad impressions?
Even if the user closes the page without proceeding anywhere - each single ad impression is paid.
