I cant bear to look at the black theme. It feels like I was staring at the sun every time I look away from the screen.
Care Your Eyes is quite a cool Chrome add-on that allows you to set custom background/font colours on websites you whitelist.
When I first signed up here, the BlackVersion hurt my eyes so I started to use the WhiteVersion here. The problem with that was there were some non-visible things, like @Sherb links to above, and there were some threads where people used custom font colours which weren't visible with the WhiteVersion.
Now I'm only using the BlackVersion, which works fine albeit tends to tire my eyes out at the end of the day.
To be fair.. I started using the white theme as well because the black one was raping my eyes too hard. The solution is probably not hard at all but the white theme has been broken for years which makes me think that the owners just don't give a fuck.
I definitely would not say that the owners don't care. There's a lot of higher priority stuff going on besides "hey this color looks wonky for some of us". I'm not sure what theme admins such as @Apricot and @Diamond Damien use to view the forum, though, so I thought I'd make this known if it was not already.
If it's a complex fix, don't worry about it. If it's an easy fix, I'd be remiss if I didn't point it out, as I had noticed it before but remembered when the BHW newsletter notice went out.
I am interested in @Sephrata's metro theme, though. Also, @BassTrackerBoats, to comply with your suggestion, I request this thread be moved to Online Reputation Management subforum.
It does now but was not the case at the time this was reported. The advertising page should default to black theme - not sure if it does for you?

Deep down I always knew you would be a white theme type. :/
