hiding your identity is not the issue here you can research how to do that (offshore hosting ,anonymous domain registration ....) . if you want to do this you have to focus on how you receive payments and how tax auditing works in your country. where ever you are always pay your taxes that's what get people in trouble . you mentioned that you live in Canada so it doesn't matter if it's illegal in India , your government are not going to come to Canada and arrest you .
