I am starting a small YouTube channel creating Remakes of Silent films using A.I.

Here is the first one.


I wanted to share it and also ask you guys (since I am video editor and very ignorant regarding these issues) when is best to do YouTube SEO?

I have purchased a few K views on upwork and now ready (although financially struggling) to take the next step and do some SEO (free methods would be greatly appreciated).

Would it be best to do it ASAP (the video was published on Sunday) or wait a bit maybe?

See my friend, It is true that in the past I have seen some videos garnering hundreds and thousands of views even if their title were poor, description was missing and no tags, etc. But this does not rule out the fact that you should have basic SEO in place when uploading a new video.

I strongly suggest to make sure your basic SEO things are done, like having a keyword rich title, good length description, tags, and keywords, nice and catchy thumbnail, etc.

I believe you are a beginner You Tuber from what you said. Then you said you have bought few k views which I feel was a really bad move if you want to make serious career with You Tube. Fake views are only good for the display purpose (if you want to impress a client or want to show off the inflated metrics to project yourself as an authority). In reality, the bot views and subscribers never help with You Tube SEO.

You said you are financially struggling. So do not repeat this mistakes. It is a sheer wastage of your money.

Instead, focus on learning how You Tube works, You Tube best practices, Guides, tutorials and courses about You Tube. Focus on creating good and useful videos and you should be in a better position.

yes newbies always belive this type of myth, microtasking means not PTC or clickfarm its all about content sharing sites cheek my post there is an eaxmple wesbites mentioned linkcollider, this type of website allow you share the videos to million of websites inccluding facebook, twitter, linkedin, wordpress, blogsopt,tumblr and many more.

I know about it. It harms the video most of the time. Maybe there should be a limit on the number of shares?
 
Of course man, the thing is, because the algorithm is sometimes so random and picks up bad videos, it may seem like it's all futile. However, optimizing everything makes it much more likely that your videos will perform well over a longer period of time.

If you use good quality workers, it will not cause big loss. These things can be learnt with trial on these sites.

Worth it as it doesn’t take as much time on youtube vs google. That being said, I’ve ranked a lot of videos with only my keywords in the title of a video on YouTube.
