Seems like the youtube gurus are pushing fear mongering strategies to their followers.
Same thing with tiktok with rage bait content.
They know fear and hate get views.

Yes, I do get some of these topics recommended even if I never searched for them. Just keep watching your usual videos and click not interested whenever you notice these videos. Or you can use a chrome extension to hide all videos from the homepage and just show a search bar.
