On my YouTube homepage feed and suggestions, I will show you the title styles. I never search negative titles on purpose but I generally watch the news and documentaries but is it me or is the world really in such a negative state now? Look at the suggested title styles on my homepage:

- AI takes over jobs
- Mass layoffs
- Cashless and dystopic future
- China is running out of babies
- Now it is imppossible to buy houses
- Why you should quit software engineering
- Birth rates are triggering a global collapse
- Gen Z has no future
- Is world war 3 started?
- You will own nothing and be happy
- Housing market crash
- Christmas is a wage slave trap
- Greedy corporations

For real?. That's looks like doom feed. I heard of doom scroll. Mine use to be mixed I just started banning doomer channels. Bad news? You are gone.
Just use the three don't and click on
Not interested
Or
Do not recommend this channel
You always get either of 2 options except for released videos.

it depends on your algo
for me, this stuff doesn't appear
but today I watched a video about AI 2027 report and now some apocalyptic AI predictions are appearing for me

I don't watch such type of videos and if YouTube recommend one for me, I just click on not interested or don't recommend channel. Even if I accidentally click on the video, I make sure to delete it from my watch history so that YouTube can not recommend similar videos.

It is based on what you see and search. You should look for positive topics with search and feed will also improve.

Mine is full of accoustic music, warcraft 3 and side hustles :D

In principle, the world is not in the best shape right now, many people are focused on the negative, there is always more negativity than positivity, everything is as usual.

YouTube algorithms train on what you interact with most liking or watching positive content more should shift the feed over time.

On your left screen, click "History" , and delete any video you watched out of curiosity, or Pause watch history & activate it only when you're looking for something useful, I don't have any social media accounts, so I spend about 1-2hr on Youtube daily, and I took care of my Feed :)

Your feed is created based on videos you watch. So you have full control over it.

Every going through bad relationship breakup get ready be blasted.

Your video is good, try making catchier titles, thumbnails, and shorter clips to get more views.

Now, as soon as you browse any related video, you're bombarded with push notifications.

From what I've observed youtube is pretty good at showing videos based on your watch history... my feed always just reflects what I've been watching honestly.

These headlines reflect what attracts views rather than actual events youtubes system prioritizes engagement over accuracy, so the feed can feel more alarming than reality.

You clicked on something and Youtube took the piss with it. At some point there was an interesting video suggested from a creator in a topic I watch videos from. Except that video was them talking about their recent stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Holy crap, for months Youtube kept serving me the saddest most heart breaking stage 4 cancer videos or goodbye videos. No matter how many cat videos I searched for I couldn't shake it. Took around 3 months to go away (was going to use die off but...).

your feed is based on the things you usually watch maybe someone else is watching these things on your phone as they are appearing on your feed
