I am building an authority site based on rschmitz's Amazon thread. I am using Yoast SEO plugin. It tells me... Your focus keyword was found in: Article Heading: Yes (1) Page title: Yes (1) Page URL: Yes (1) Content: Yes (1) Meta description: No ...and yet my keyword density is reported as .04 percent when I only have 252 words so far in my article. It would appear Yoast is only counting keywords that appear in the body of my article to calculate density, which would be in this case, once. Is this this correct. I've always counted the number of times the keyword appears on the page, url excluded, to calculate density. Which is the right method? Somebody?
